RET. COL. DAVID HUNT, U.S. ARMY: Yes, absolutely. You've got British service been in there about three weeks ago and actually got captured and
released. The French GIGN have been in there and our special forces and our U.S. intelligence operatives and their assets. We do not conduct
operations like this, large scale air operations, without people on the ground. They have been very successful, very good, not a lot of contact with
the rebels because you don't know who to talk to. But, yes, we have got intel gathering and rescue guys and special operations guys on the ground,
have had them for about 12 days.

WCTI-TV in New Bern reports those Marines, assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) at Camp Lejuene, are "preserving the sanctity of the
city [of Ajdubiyah] and the safety of the civilians within it."
Capt. Timothy Patrick with the 26th MEU told the station: "In Libya right now they are doing exactly what we need them to do. They are doing what
they are told, and right now that's protecting Libyan people against Qadhafi forces."

I knew it since day 1 troops MUST have been on the ground in Libyan, not just in the air and off the coast. Once the public sees a probable reason,
like False Flag attack in the U.S and/or Europe, to invade.. we will put upwards of 5000 troops there. IMO.
