I saw his show a few weeks ago when he came to Buffalo, and I would have to agree that it rocked steady. One of the greatest guitarist still living. He didn't really have anyone with him though, no big name drummer or anything.

I think the same, and I am 16! Lol. My favourite guitarists are:
Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, Jimi Hendrix and Slash (though the previous 3 knock the socks off him).

I would love to go and see Eric Clapton... Maybe one day (I doubt he will stop soon).

Personally i think that Hendrix isnt that good, Most of his music was done through insane amounts of use of the squawk box.

Best Guitarists of all time IMHO are:
Slash
Eddy Van Halen (ever heard the guitar solo called eruption? if not slap yourself)
Eric Clapton

hooray for classics!

I once saw Willie Nelson's tour bus...but I never saw "old man with braid" step out of it. Darn! But I was at Gruene Hall so it was an awesome experience in itself

Eric Clapton - love him, would love to see him live, everyone who has been to a clapton gig says he's awesome.....

now to best guitar players.........
as a player myself i've awe struck by....
Eric Clapton (of course)
Jimi Hendrix
Jimmy Page - no one's mentioned him yet? WTF???

Steve Vai

John Petrucci
a hell of alot of death metal guitarists
Mick from Slipknot - on the new album (subliminal verses) he shreds, does some awesome sweeps in his solos, thats left me awestruck cuz on the other albums i didn't think too much of the guitarists

Bring back The Shred!!!!!
