Ah bummer... I was really looking forward to this year's carnival in my country the 28 May..

Well let the whole lot of them go if thats what happens..personally I dnt gaf! Tired of these group of fanatics trying to use scare tactics to supress their beliefs on others. Their god sounds too hypocrytical to me and seems to be a mad dictator. Why be polite about it: his gospel is I love you but if you dont follow me Im gonna make you suffer for etternity! Thats lame and a horrid religion to follow! No offence to all you christians out there..any faith is good faith..just think you should look at it all with eyes open.

Ill give my opinion why he is wrong about that date. God operates according to his own time pieces that he has established through his feasts. For example: christ was crucified on passover, resurrected on first fruits, holy spirit given on pentecost. I am recalling from memory but if im correct the next feast in that order is trumpets which is around september during the harvest. I personally believe christ comes for the church around that time and time is short. Major prophecies have been fullfilled, we are seeing economic collapses globally, wars, famines, pestilences, call for new world order, one world currency, one world leader. We are at the threshold of the tribulation the time of Israel's trouble. Buckle up.

What's the basis for doing this:

My understanding of one of the last signs as written is that Jerusalem has to be invaded and half the city taken by gentiles this hasnt happened yet. This does not include the Roman destruction of 70 AD as the whole city was destroyed.

Soo can't wait until the world does NOT end.

There is so much that will happen before the world ends.

I live near Sacramento california and i actually saw two box vans on the side of he road with professional airbrushed images that said " repent your sins. Rapture May 21st." I laughed out loud. Then i called my buddy who is religous and told him he better repent and he replyed that nowhere in the bible does it say a date for the so called rapture.

When people mention "end of the world".. It doesn't mean that the whole world is literally going to explode into bits and pieces, life will continue. The only thing that will end is, evil.

I saw 7 of those vehicles in my city today. One was a RV and had huge horns blaring. We cracked up laughing too. My 14 year asked why religion has to ruin everything. I told him because religion is controlled by man and man is a pain in the butt. I was quite proud of him to see the signs for what they were - crap. They also had a radio station plastered on the side. We checked it out and nothing but static.

My youngest was a little afraid though. I had to downplay it for him. It pisses me off that they do this crap. The same thing happened when I was a kid - preachers yapping about burning in hell etc. Scared the crap out of me. Yet I was still forced to go to church after that. GRRRRR!

If you are referring to jerusalem being trodden down by the gentiles that HAS been fulfilled. Now there will be a time after the rapture when the dragon (rev 12) will pursue the woman (israel) into the desert (jordan) and God will protect them there.

I actually saw a billboard with this date locally a few weeks ago, which I thought was really odd.

They warn of false prophets and prophecies. This looks to be of both. This guy has no clue but is trying to make money off the whole 2012 story.

I wonder if this is the same preacher or church that was putting up billboards in San Diego County with this information on it! I took pics of the billboards as it was disconcerting, to say the least!

Also, to the poster that claims that religion is controlled by man. You are 100% right. Religion is. Real belief in Jesus is not. That's why I got out of my church (an organization) and started worshiping alone and with my like minded mother when I was 14. They told me I was gonna go to hell for listening to rock music. I was like "Where in the Bible does it say that? Can you point it out?" Cause, to me...as long as you've excepted Christ as your savior...You're covered by grace and the blood of Christ.
