What about the American scientists and troops that are either off the coast of Japan or actually on the ground? Are they completely safe?
Does someone have to die for this situation to be serious? The water is possibly tainted as well as the food supply in Japan. Cancer rates, birth
defects and other issues could arise if this situation gets worse. This could have repercussions for some time.
I'm also not just concerned with Americans. We should worry about the welfare of the Japanese people as well. They are no different than you or I and
deserve to be considered as part of the overall severity of the issue, not just Americans.
I don't know how this will all pan out, but until this is resolved I wouldn't say we are in the clear yet.
