My little brother showed this to me awhile back. Looks sweet, but unnecessarily sad lol. I would've been happy with just an upbeat, rocking, zombie killing trailer. I'll still probably pick it up when it hits shelves.

My vote for greatest game trailer atm is Elder Scrolls Skyrim

Brutal. This made me sad, I really hope the game turns out good. Sometimes the people who make the trailers make a better trailer than the game developers make a game. I'll be on the lookout for this game now though.

its meant to be sick and for it being garbage... thats a matter of opinion.

to take part in a apocalyptic zombie experience. like i said its a matter of

Yeah, saw the Dead Island trailer about a week ago, I thought it was bloody excellent, one of the best trailers I've seen in a long time, but I found it odd how it impacted me...I was really saddened by it!

I;m on the fence about this one. It looks good, but It will come down to how the game plays. I'm thinking a little similar to dead rising.

I'm hoping t's more along the lines of Dead Rising than a res evil game.

I love zombies, movies and games, this has so much potential to rip DR's crown from their rotting head.

I have a review of "Dead Island" in Play magazine it looks to be a mix between Dead Rising (lots of melee weapons), Left 4 Dead (different Zombies, ie. walkers, runners and exploders) and Just Cause (for the map size).
It say's the story is very linear but there are side quests.

Has anyone heard or the New Dead Rising game? Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. Basically a redo of DR2 with Frank West as main character, new weapons, combo weapons, new area and multiplayer mode. (No info on these 2 new additions, or the new weapons for that matter.

Personally I will get it but don't see the point of it.
It's described as a "What would Frank have done in Fortune city" story.

You get co-op with Chuck in and I think he comes into the story at some point, but it seems too pushed.
