Hi there, this is quite an old story and a podcast exists of the officers testimony as he gets interviewed by Whitley streiber. You will find it at unknowncountry.com but you will probably have to subscribe to download the older podcasts although it is free to download or just listen to the weeks current podcast which this week is about NASA conspiracies with Nick Redfern-the podcasts are absolutely outstanding and there are hundreds of them with people such as Jim Marrs,Stanton Friedman,Michio Kaku,David Icke to name a few.

Actually, I was watching a documentary and they managed to do all those 3 things.

1. They pressed the crops down with the planks (didn't break them, just pushed them down)

2. The type of people experiencing some sort of "feeling" are the people who truly believe aliens did this, so I'll go with a placebo effect here.

3. The documentary I watched showed how they managed to do it in a matter of mere hours in the early morning.

I'm sure if you do some searches on youtube you could probably find this documentary.

Looking forward to the 2011 Crop Circle Season.

For those looking for more info. Lots of videos, evidence, debate and photographs. Check out this ATS thread:

Crop Circles... With Some Evidence

I think that the crop circle people saw a way to make some money off an existing phenomenon. Making logos for business proves this. Greed is a great motivator for some, I would hardly give them credit for anything that did not give them financial gain.
I wonder how much money the two old guys made, maybe they needed to finance their retirement. I guess this is another example of jumping on the bandwagon. Clever. Maybe I am in the wrong line of work.

Having read this .. and the description of the "beings" reminds me of a book which i have read called " abduction to the 9th planet" which the abductee claims was taken by beings who were very tall, blonde and female in appearance.. i wonder if this has any relation :S.

You gotta be kidding. Those two guys have been totally debunked. A couple of old guys with a ball of string and some boards have made thousands of crop circles throughout the world, and continue to make them, because they can travel the world in a flash, and do days of work in a matter of minutes, just like santa!

Crop circles have all been debunked.
Santa Claus is real.

Sounds like they are slowly psychologically conditioning us. They are giving us a ton of clues.

Think about it,

"Alien beings" (from their look and locomotion they leave no doubt in the human mind) running towards a crop circle. What are crop circles synonymous with, UFOs.

A Type 3 civlization trying to increase the awareness of a Type 0 culture. They hope we "get it" before it's too late and we get ourselves into too much trouble. But I believe they stand ready to help mankind on a grand scale. Not help us an individuals. Help us on a planetary scale.

Actually, Neanderthals were better equipped to the environment than humans. And their parties were similar in size. What caused man to overcome Neanderthal was the fact that Humanity was brutal in their expansionism. Again, Neanderthals were doing perfectly fine. They were simply linear, and slower, creatures. They were more stable. But the thing is, once something so chaotic as man gets thrown into there, all things go to hell very fast. I've even been told by some that cave paintings exist showing mankind slaughtering Neanderthals. Some hybrids were made, but weather that was rape or legitimate coupling is unknown. What we do know is this. Neanderthals buried their dead and had a culture. Then when they came into contact with man, they left behind signs of cannibalism, leaving bodies in the middle of no where, and simple desperation to survive.

Had man never evolved, Neanderthals would probably just barely be leaving the stone age now, but they would be far better able to go on.

Neanderthals in fact had little to no signs of art. And all signs point to them being a lot slower than man. They would not have gotten as far as us in the same time. Again, they were linear. Not exponential like man. They never invented until they discovered man. And afterwards they never invented because they did not know how. Trial and error occasionally made some cool improvements, but all and all Neanderthals were simply apes without fur. Brains just like ours, just not as complex. And rest assure,d brain size has nothing to do with intelligence. Brain to body ratio does. This is how a crow can be more intelligent than an ape.

Neanderthals were not stupid. I may sound like I am saying that, but I am not. They were simply slow. And there's nothing wrong with that. They took longer because they did not have imagination and abstract thought. This is called Behavioral modernity.

The humanoid form did not become anything special until about 50,000 years ago when we came around. So no, the truth is that only once out of some 6 or 8 maybe humanoid forms actually became anything better than other animals.

Well to be honest with technology, I do know. And many others do too. Using a light collision matrix you can generate gravity fields. and you can spin them to generate ergospheres. A combination of spinning and non-spinning generators can create what's known as an alcubierre drive. Such a device's only limitation is the amount of energy you put into it. And a ufo is not an ideal form for this. A cylinder is. Earth, in fact, has the capacity to build he first warp ship capable of bringing us to the nearest stars in a few years or months at FTL speeds today. We simply have no financial gain from it nor incentive. I could tell you more of such things if you desire. I've tlaked with many people of many fields about such things. It's all right there to do it, just nobody wants to. Fact is, if you're under 30 years old right now, you likely will live to se the first FTL probes reach the nearest star system.

Why make crop circles? For the lulz? No joke. Just for attention. people do far more sillier things for the pursuit of attention. In fact, going back to aliens, the only real reason an alien would want to visit Earth would be its art and its DNA. Research and culture. That is it. Crop circles could just be them trying to see how we would respond. They did it for the lulz, simply put.

I have seen that documentary too. But it doesn't prove or debunk anything. let me give you a few facts. They did break the crops, perhaps not so much as others do. They inevitably left a trace behind, leading from the road to the crop. The mysterious crop circles show no signs of human presence whatsoever.
Also the circles these guys make, are easily distinguishable from the mysterious ones. I can see the difference in a heart-beat. I strongly suggest you investigate this matter further. The mystery becomes bigger.
The mysterious crop circles are made by electro-magnetic lightballs. This has been documented on film twice and scientifically explained. The crops actually grow. Do you understand that? They grow and fall down due to increased mass. That is not how these two man worked.
All evidence leads to conclude that a benevolent extraterrestrial race is desperately trying to establish contact and to warn us of coming future events. I'm not going to dismiss this based on the paradigm that we are the only ones and that we like to fabricate fantasies to fill the empty space of our boredom. But it's up to you.

It was said that the beings were over 6ft. Very common within the human race of course.. Over 6ft doesn't mean 7 ft either. If they were that tall, they would have said 'at least 7 ft', or something like that. There was nothing extraordinary about their height. Even 6'6 wouldn't be out of the ordinary. My roommates 2 brothers are both over 6'6 and so is their dad.

Now that is truly intriguing. You've given me some research to do, and I thank you
I apologize to the OP for getting off subject, but, why is it that no one would want to build this, Gorman? With a quick google search, I found plenty of reading for the day, so, believe me when I say that I am not being facetious. Were I, say for instance, a greedy billionaire with sway over potential investors, I would find more than enough reasons to go forth with this type of drive. Just think of the money such a greed filled entity could gain from being the first to make contact with an alien planet, you could potentially bring back technology that makes Earth seem like we're still in the Stone Age, that alone is enough reason to pursue the Alcubeirre drive.

Haha, and "for the lulz" is about as plausible as any other reason behind crop circles, whether man-made or not.
