Quick way for to add a few badges to your chest.

Hopefully this commander will take immediate control, review the situation, refuse boots on the ground regardless of the pressure the UN presents and within a month complete cease air missions over Libya.

Time will tell.

I almost swore. I'm sorry. NAU is OVER. Get our people out of there and stop it! We don't spend war money and we're never ever going to, we support the people in our coutnry with our taxes and we're not joining your WW3 plans. I know they follow this. So read it and get it through your stuffed up nose MR. Harper and your Ministers, cause you're not carrying through!

Take your karmic dump war agenda off the canadian purse. We're not paying for it. We're not endorsing it. And take the disease ridden genetically modified hotdogs, meat and food off the shelves too. We're not eating this crapola either.

In fact, resign immediately.

You like Obama so much, go get a motel room, at your own expense.

Harper's about to be forced out in about an hour through the first non-confidence vote in Canadian parliament history, hopefully Ignatieff or Layton (whoever replaces him) won't be such a tool.

This is good news, and bad news.
Good news; US can't screw it up.
Bad news; UN is now in a position to deploy ground forces and it won't look like an act of the US government.

This could be a step closer to a United North America being realized. United by Armed Forced.

Well it looks like what I thought about Harper is true, just another little puppet of TPTB. We have to distance ourselves from the American government. This is just going to open Canada up to more elCIAda attacks.

Link? Or wishful thinking. Cause this is something good, unless, their NAU union is standing in the background waiting to come in.

Jack isn't normal NDP. He's not Ed Broadbent. I don't trust him one bit either.

The drug capital of the world, parliament.

I have a bad feeling about this. If we get overly involved we may end up on someone's "Bomb Here" list.

This ought to be interesting... I wonder if this commander will be on par with those pilots I was commending for not bombing the other day.

Yup, US goes in guns a blazin' as always. Decides to back off and turn it over to Canadians who were only there in a support mode....with 6 jets.

Next, Libya heats up, US blames Canada and comes to the rescue.

Why not leave it to the Brits as always? These 2 seem to be buddies anyway. Oh right, too much focus on the US and Brit Alliance these days so let's take a little off them and put it somewhere else. I mean Canada does have 6 fighters there and the propaganda machines have been careful as to make sure the whole World knows this. It's all in the MSM news everyday.

I smell setup. The US will pull the strings from behind and use other nations as scapegoats to achieve the US agenda and those of Obama's string pullers.

Ignatieff.

He is a Canadian born citizen who lives in the U.S for 30 years, only to return to run our country.

NO THANK YOU.

Combining an "open arms" philosophy with lax security could make Canada an easy mark. Think about it. If Canada is easy to attack, but still close enough to the U.S. to scare people there, mission accomplished for terrorists.

Add in all that empty Canadian territory, just ripe for setting up terrorist training camps ...

Well, IMO you should be worried.

In addition:
increased Northern Border Security systems, sign?
if Canada was attacked/home to terror cells, the US and Canada would have a huge excuse to combine Governmentpower/militaryassets and become One, United North America.
my opinion^

This seems like a pretty obvious set-up. Too obvious...
TPTB are more cunning than you and I, sadly, and we will never know their plan until after the fact, and by then it will be too late.

Good point about the surveillance story... Really feels like we're (Canadian and US citizens alike) being setup here. Canada may very well become host to hidden training camps or as a jump off point to attack the US.

What`s historic about the vote is that it`s the first time in history a government will be overthrown for Contempt of Parliament.

I am wondering this though. Is it possible that McKay ordered the commender to volunteer to take command? It sure plays into the hands of Harper government, imo.

Oops, my bad. That's what I get for trusting what the CBC told me earlier today. They said this would be the first. After further investigation, though, it looks like a ruling political party has only been actually voted out in this manner in Canada once before:

en.wikinews.org...

@Unity_99 - Here's a link to a live feed of CBC coverage of the "Countdown To Confidence" - Vote scheduled for 2pm Eastern Time:
