Over Boston (MA).... UFO photography?

Just found this one on the MUFON CMS:

Event Date: 2011-03-23 Event Location: Boston, Massachusetts, US Event Description: "My friend and I took a photo together at the Boston Waterfront. I held my phone out to try to get the shot and I immediately noticed the object but thought it was a plane. I didn't get a better look at it until later in the evening when I arrived home. I took a second photo right after this one and the object does not appear. I tried putting scraps of paper on the camera lens and taking a picture to reproduce the image with no luck. It was an overcast grey day and the wind was minimal. It doesn't look like a bag or piece of trash to me. If you have seen anything that looks like this or have any suggestions for me please let me know. Thank you very much! *(Wit's name deleted--CMS/sg)."

I haven't done any work on it yet, I thought it could be interesting to show it prior to everyone to work on.

Hmmm, what an odd shape, I wonder if the cameraman noticed it as he was taking the picture.

Looks exactly like a street light to me. Either edited, or the pole is not visible due to the high contrast or exposure.

Yes, this is an idea.

Maybe someone form Boston coud recognize where it was taken and see if there's a streetlamp over there?

....Or by using Google Streetview.

The colors in the "object" look an awful lot like the colors in the guy's cap. Looks to me like someone lassoed a part of his cap and copy/pasted. Doesn't look like an object hovering in the sky at all. Zoom in on it and you'll see what I mean.

It can't be a street lamp because he said he took another picture right after that one, and the object wasn't there. If it was a blimp, then, depending how fast he took the pictures, it would also be in the 2nd picture's frame unless it passed behind one of their heads.

That's the blimp, it's over Boston regularly. I'm from Boston and see it all the time , same color, same shape. There is not a doubt in my mind that it is the blimp. No big deal.

It looks somewhat distorted.

It's a street lamp photoshopped into the picture. If you look at the original full sized one the OP gave in the link zoom in it will be obvious.
