i know what you're talking about. there is a big difference, though. the sound feels like it's going directly in to your ear.. like with the flexibility of a pipe cleaner. it doesn't sound the same either.
also, the sound comes out of nowhere... and i can tell you it has some effect on me. just a couple of weeks ago i got hit it with it. and i became distorted, numb almost. i couldn't move my head for about a second.edit on 25-3-2011 by PaR3v because: (no reason given)

I hear this so called "EEEEEEEE" as well...
It is called tinnitus OP. I hear it 24/7 and it is not from some secret society trying to silence you. Do you think about how insanely silly that sounds? Perhaps you should visit your local hospitals Psych ward and get some treatment.
This NWO and Illuminati thing is going way to far. Not one person has been able to provide proof that they even exist. Please stop mistaking your paranoid delusional behavior on something that does not exist.

This is simply an uninformed statement, in my humble opinion.

Hello brother -
I can't say much about your computer, but as far as this EEEEEEE sound in your ear - does it happen when you are sitting in silence (or close to it) and last...10 seconds or so, then fade away?
I get the same thing randomly. Not having much luck finding anything on it right now, but I did some digging a few months back and came across some information stating that your ear can actually go into test mode when not getting stimulation and actually GENERATE an audible sound to make sure is still working right - or something very close along those lines.
Before that, I'd always heard people explain it by way of urban legend saying that your ear was just burning out that specific frequency and you'd never hear that exact note again...but yeah, if sounds right to you, appears you just get the same thing I do sometimes and is just your inner-ear going crazy. Apparently if you could get the right kind of microphone in there, you could actually record it since is generated within the ear itself.
Peace and love.
