I have always strongly believed that life existed on Mars in abundance in its ancient past when Mars was apparently warmer.

Mars probably does still have some form of life on it we just aren't certain yet; within a the next decade or two we may be able to find, if life on earth originated from Mars or somewhere else. When we take samples from soil to test the possible genetic makeup of whatever is living there; If there is something alive on mars.

Notice Mars is the same colour as Australia from above

Mars also has a blue sky which tells us everything we need to know about its make up,

I don't think its as dead as they want us to believe it is today nether mind in the past, its a cold desert but you can still find life in deserts hot or cold across the planet, i think the civilization that was there was wiped out by something catastrophic millions of years ago around the same time something killed of the dinosaurs, and created the the asteroid belt,

I find this plausible considering some of the creatures I've encountered at Walmart.

I call them WalMartians.

OK, at least I didn't tell another Uranus joke.

S & F

I have believed this for a while, especially when I studied the Ancient Alien theory.

I find it to be true, that our 'gods' came from another planet....and that Mars may have been the 1st home for mankind.

Thinking about the biblical book 'Exodus', it could have very well been describing a mass exodus from Mars to Earth..

Everything was red (sea, dessert)

Mars went through some planetary turmoil and Earth was terrraformed for us (God created the Earth), the same as we will have to do once Earth is no longer inhabitable

Yes, I'm buying, steady, steady.....

Careful, careful.....

Your a little looney yourself to be honest if you believe humans actually migrated from mars XD. Or was that sarcasm. Oh wait... u guys don't understand that when i said earths life originating from Mars i mean't Panspermia Theory that life can come to different planets via asteroids and collisions etc.. look it up...

I DID not mean to suggest HUMANS made an exodus from their devastated planet mars to the ARC of the covenenant and Terraform Earth now that is a bit crazy IMO. But i do not judge your own free opinions im just clarifying that i did not mean to say Humans came directly from mars ... early life 4 billion years ago may have came from mars... just saying

The only problem I have with the mars migration theory is that there should be evidence of ships used to relocate humans!

life was wiped out on mars 170 thousand years ago. catastrophic event. is there still life there currently? nope. they all left. or while they could...

edit: and no we didnt migrate from mars. we were genetically improved and naturally raised here after they destroyed the dinosaurs...the reptilians had their chance with them. must have not been happy lol...it was someone else turn that brought the human race to Earth.

Maybe more than ancient microbes made the trip.

My old roommate used to say Mars = Heaven. From Heaven to Earth they came.

Interesting theory he had.

I have always felt Mars had a civilization and the planets atmosphere was destroyed by what I do not know. It could have been hit or they could have destroyed it themselves. If we as humans were on Mars then it's safe to say we could have destroyed it ourselves since we aren't really taking care of this planet right now. I also believe there is still life on Mars but underground.

I have alway been obsessed with Mars since I was a kid. I have always felt some strange connection to the Red Planet
I could look at pics of Mars for hours and I have.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing....

I think it is possible some of us came from Mars a long time ago..

To be honest we could all come from anywhere.
Think about it.

The Urine and bodily waste the astronauts eject from there ship, could hit a planet and over billions of years form some form of life.

There are clouds full of life essential chemicals floating around in deep space from suns which have died and exploded, propelling these chemicals and gases all over the universe.

This could make for a very creative twist in the book I am writing!

Very very creative!

Biogenesis theory hmm. Well, technically we are created from stardust. So all life in the universe was facilitated by atomic fusion in stars, all elements came from hydrogen, collectively gathering to create enough gravitation to fuse heavier elements in the vast incubators we call stars.

So yes, life migrated to earth, technically.

I believe that there is still the potential for some subterraneous life on Mars (intelligent or otherwise) ... and I believe that the original Martian civilization were half of a Dual Race that created 'us'.

Full explanation of my personal hypotheses and theories on this (a project I have been working on for well over a decade) can be found on my website 'The Atlantean Analysis' (experiment Man - laboratory Earth);

www.theatlanteananalysis.webeden.co.uk...

And before anyone gets put of by the word 'Atlantean' (and wrongly assumes my work is nought but New-Age clap-trap) ... I for one do not believe it originally meant what myth and the mists of time have made it today !
