cant find the original Yahoo article which shows the crashed tail section. Mig 29 stabilizers at the top are angled where as f 15 is horizonal if that makes sence

F-15 ,and Mig-29 are almost identical and regardless you still couldn't tell the difference from a distance like that, but I know it was a probably a Mig-29, because apparently Russia and China called an immediate cease fire maybe for that particular reason it was one of theirs....

Where's the evidence of this? It would be horrible, but why don't we have pictures of any of the civilians that have been killed since the start of this? No one in Libya has counted dead civillians coming in (as far as I know). Not saying I would be surprised if civilians don't get killed, because in every conflict they do, but until I get exact proof this incident happened im not going to assume it's true.

It sounds to me like, all this money andt echnology the pentagon comes up with, hight ec stuff, is making ourt boys little panzys..react before looking and thinking. had this been WWII men woulda been tough enough with less weapons and still done the right thing. today, thier so scared, they react, becuase they had the saftey of nonsexperience..a drone seeing for them so they could plan things out. things like that. 3 d view of the battlefield. thats my take on it.

We shouldnt even be there........at all.

This is going to escalate now into something we can't afford to be involved with.

And it seems to me like this whole thing was a set up from the start. We got suckered in and now all the other countries who were calling for intervention are changing their tune.

Good old US of A....always the garbage men cleaning up behind the rest of the world

I dont mean total disrespect too all marines thier..god bless them!
thier must be a valid reason, why then went on a rambo on crack rampage to resure these guys. all they had to do was scope the scene check it out, appraoch with caution and react as necessary,...not at free will.
to me, its kinda like todays snipers. im not a military guy, but if i was would LOVE to be a sniper.father was inte army 1967-69 reserves till about 1980 or so. love all things WWII europe, and itno guns and artillery, and bombs though. todays snipers, have that 2nd guy saying fire fire fire fire looking through a scope. just seems to me, it kills the element of surprise on the battlefield, and kinda hard for 2 grunts to relocate. a sniper that dosnt relocate,=dead sniper in my mind. sooner or later, the enemy is going to narrow in on yuor position...so how todays military made a sniper a team work effort, seems dumb and dangerous. being a sniper is the risk and job yuo signed up for , knowing the full risks invovled..its what yuo wanted to do.
makes more a man outta ya. no wonder we cant get bin laden..someone yuo dont ehar abuot anymore and what afghanistan is supposed to be about..so they said on the news years ago. no woander we cant get him...look at what our mindles untrained boys are doin over their! if thats the case, along with all the horror storys ive rea of rape to posing with dead village people for selfish trophy videos, then i dont see why the miltiary donst simply recruit hells angels, bloods n crips as well then

None of the reports I've seen reported any dead villagers or dead guards. You have no proof of the event as you see it. Until someone links the article about villagers being killed. It never happened.

The report I've seen denies it ever happened. Obviously...if it did, you *would* deny it - but take it for what you want -

A US military spokesman has denied reports that US Marines rescuing a downed pilot in Libya on Monday night shot and injured six civilians. "It didn't happen, I can deny this 100%," said Captain Richard Ulsh, a spokesman for the US Marines.

Thanks Jaycen420 it did help sort of....that pic you have there is a Mig 29 BUT i dont think its from the same crash site. If they are saying it is then we have conflicting photos and a CONSPIRACY to commit Propaganda

after scroling down I found the pic I was looking for. except tail is markee the way US birds are marked, its not an F-15......need backup opinion
