Power lines up in progress at Japan nuclear plant

FUKUSHIMA, Japan – Workers at a leaking nuclear plant hooked up power lines to all six of the crippled complex's reactor units Tuesday, but other repercussions from the massive earthquake and tsunami were still rippling across the nation as economic losses mounted at three of Japan's flagship companies.

They finally have power hooked up to these reactors at the plant! But I wonder if this is going to work with all the water still In the plant! And with all of the aftershocks and earthquakes that are happening! These

Could ruin the whole operation! I hope it doesn't ruin anything! I hope they get
It fixed and stop the leaks!

That is very true! And if they fix it it is going to help them so much! I have hope in them that they will fix it! They are very smart and know what to do! I just hope it is fixed in time before something else happens!

One would imagine that much is happening in parallel. We will see their efforts more fully in the coming days.

The people doing the work are like you and me. They haven't time for public relations.

Are you concerned that the electrical connections will be fouled by the water?

I don't believe it's a concern. It's a good thing that they have them connected to power, like they were originally.
