Interesting article that talks about how if a person believes something happened, even if it is a false memory, then they experience the same type of
an emotional response, as people who actually experienced the actual event.

These scientists used alien abductee claimees as their subjects. The only problem I have with this study, is the invalid assumption on the part of the
scientists that abductions do not happen. We do not know that for sure. While I am sure there are a lot of people out there, who claim this experience
to get their 15 minutes of fame, there are also a lot more people who have experienced something strange that simply cannot be dismissed as a false
memory. So this comes down to bad science, basically. These scientists postulated a hypothesis and reached a conclusion based on invalid assumptions.
