My post was in reference to his rudeness in the threads he's ranting about, you stopped underlining at an important point in the post. He's crying and demanding anyone posting get banned, this is a forum, we're all allowed to contribute while following the T&C as I clearly stated, use the complaint button if it's needed, but you can't use it to quell differing opinions, that is not what it is for.

I stand by my statement, from the posts I have read from this user, I believe he should have been post banned and warned by now. This in no way implies I think it's ok for people to act like dicks, they should be warned as well. But, as clearly stated, the thread I took part in was in no way bullying, at all, several pages of people attempting to help were ignored then captain exclamation point started getting rude. go read it for yourself and quote til your heart is content, it doesn't change anything.

Yes, he's allowed to open this rant in the rant section, and guess what, I'm allowed to respond to it. no one claimed other wise, which leads me to assume you are directing your issue with things said in another thread, at people here in a related, but unrelated, thread.

I've been nothing but nice with the guy and you can see his responses to that. Several other uses offered help and advice and were met with rude comments or ignored completely.

Yes you can rant and rave but you can't demand people stop posting if they are posting on topic, you can't. You also can't use the complaint button (as he apparently has) as a way to attempt to silence critics. the mods are extremely fast in dealing with stuff and we should all be grateful for it.

If you can't take differing opinions, do not open a thread, it really is that simple, you can't control who is going to post, and what (within the T&C) so if you are going to fly into a fit don't even bother.

IF you feel you can contribute and discuss, welcome a board, you've got a great little representation of society on here,there will always be trolls and jerks, but everyone that disagrees with you doesn't automatically fit into those categories.

Do you really believe any of this is considered cyber bullying?? If you make outlandish claims with no evidence of course people are going to question your credibility.

The police have far better things to be doing, and i doubt VERY much they would spend all that time and money to trace someone in another country...where they have no jurisdiction.

I would suggest leaving the site to be honest....you cant close your account but you can just go and stop posting.

For as long as I have been on this website ( as a member and lurker ) I know that people come here because they want answers to life and it's mysteries. The word proof seams to be a word that is used here allot, but is not provided. This frustrates people and because this site has been here for awhile and because there are allot of newcomers everyday who start the same threads that some of the older members have read and disputed over and over again it makes them frustrated. And by seeing / reading the title of a thread allone they decide to attack it because it's the 10th or 100th time someone has started a topic that the most of us know is frowned upon.

That on the other hand does not make it right to attack a poster personally. I catch myself slipping sometimes too when I read some threads. And I try real hard to keep in mind, that it's not the person that is stupid because I think the topic is stupid or because I know more about it then the OP but sometimes you just snap... that's what we all have to get better in is my opinion, to think before you attack an idea or the person behind it.

I feel sorry for you that you feel this way ( probably fo a good reason ) and I don't want to say to you, " this is just the way it goes" But it is. Changing it would be almost impossible because ATS has become a mini version of the world sort of... We have people with different believes and ideas and they clash often.

I would consider this comment a threat and a form of intimidation.

Its very disturbing indeed.

This site is an open forum. You should expect to be criticized and even ridiculed. If you take everyhting that is said here personally and it hurts you I think it would be a really good idea to find a more suitable site to spend you time on.

The problem with forums is that it allows otherwise normal people, to talk big and tough to other people that they will never see face to face.

I've seen my share of bullying and senseless name calling in here, and it's always frustrating and annoying. I can't imagine calling someone that I've never met in r/l an "idiot" as I've seen a few times on here, and other forums. Or saying something like, "You must be really embarrassed that you even made this post".. It's demeaning and mean!

But you have to keep in mind that those people literally mean nothing to you, their opinions of you shouldn't matter, and if it reallly gets to bothering you, take a step back for a while, regain your composure, THEN come back for the reasons you originally started coming here. For answers to your questions, and to learn about what's going on in the world around you.

This whole thing is getting ridiculous and someone needs to have a time out from the intertubes... or needs to be given a time out. Im going to say what I wish to and OP, you can add me to your list of people youre going to report to the scary cyber police.

Its a message board.. not everyone is going to agree with you and you lash out like a child anytime anyone posts something to you that isnt praise or petting. I rarely comment on this kind of thing but I was up late last night reading threads and the OP happened to be involved in a few of them. The behavior is ridiculous and the playing victim is really annoying. This isnt a child, its a grown man acting like a preteen girl on a message board for Gods sake. He claimed the moon disappeared and then got mad when others said, nope.. moon is still there. POsters tried to offer him links to see the position of the moon and even tried to speak to him normally to quiet the absurd flailing concerning the freaking moon having fell out of the sky. I really couldnt believe that it was a real thread and thought of something along the lines of a rickroll Unfortunately, I read other posts.. nope. This guy is serious and ifyou disagree with him he will definitely get his panties in a wad and get all hysterical... he will make threads for attention and if you happen to post on the same thread he does he will claim youre stalking him and bullying him and report you.... and then post a post to tell you he reported you.. neener neener neener... give me a break. Get this... most of us post here and encounter different views and dont plash it across every thread we post on and whine for 2 days about it. Most of us dont have issues and dont want to be coddled and petted for every post we make. I think you need to reevaluate yourself before you start claiming youre the poster child for ATS cyberbullying and internet victimization.

There werent any juicy bits and there wasnt any bullying. I double checked before I posted. While checking I also saw that the person he claims is persecuting him by pointing out the moon was still in the sky and offered him help dared to post on a thread OP was on and the OP then out of the blue accused him of stalking him thread to thread and said he reported him for it.

Like I said, if you dont praise and pet him he gets his panties in a wad. I dont get it.. surely its a joke or troll account. I cant imagine someone actually being able to get through daily life without hurting themselves or others with this kind of mind set.
