I've been looking over the threads on these subject and wasn't sure what to think. I don't think that many people can get a compass reading wrong. I also don't think that the number of people hearing things are lying or mistaken.
The compass reading show that at any given time there is more than 1 magnetic north direction. The only explanation for this, if it is true, is that there is more than one magnetic north. Here is a link to multi-pole magnets. It is heavy in math but show a radial magnet with different magnetic forces.

multi-pole magnets

Since this is happening along a faultline, or so it seems, I would think that the thin crust around the fault is changing the fluid dynamics. The fault line has a magma chamber that is carved out so to speak. Small rotating currents of molten material would cause fluctuation in the magnetic readings. This would also create a harmonic resonance. Which would explain the sounds. Any experts out there who could tell us how to debunk this or give more credence to this idea. It is very advanced science and I am not to advanced. I generally try to come up with the simplest explanation that can explain the most about a situation. Not even sure what kind of scientist to ask about this stuff

but i think as of now we need an organized and unified thread.

each thread is taking its own direction but i think all should be taken into account

Very true, I posted in those thread but it got buried around theories on boring machines and such. I wanted a thread where the information was in one place so that the ideas could be shared without clutter. If the answer or debunking occured on those threads it would be spaced out over hundreds of pages and unreadable and make no sense. When a thread gest to 600 post it should be broken down into smaller parts Ever go away for a weekend, come home and see a good thread and spend hours reading all the post. Half of which are dribble.

I guess the scientist to ask would be a geologist

But after listening to your theory about massive currents of magma beneath the surface, it sort of makes these videos pretty terrifying, especially given the recent speculation about the New Madrid...

but at least I am now convinced that these issues are being given the right attentionhere

Heres a link to a scientist who did a lot of work with magnets.

Hallbach array

He died in 2000 but very interesting. The scale he uses is small. Could it be applied to a larger scale like the earth?

Most certainly. The principle is the same on any scale.

This is a fine thread. Focused.

My mind keeps coming back to a pole shift, but if that's the cause, then why is it not effecting the entire planet rather than just certain areas? Or perhaps, it's starting to be noticeable around weak areas....where massive plates are located. Birds dropping out of the air.... there is a correlation somewhere.

I wish someone would take the time to do a map correlating these odd sounds, and the birds dying.

I am no scientist but I do know every inch of the earth is connected, everything that occurs is interlinked with something else. The hydrological cycle, weather, solar flares, currents, wind, lunar tides, and that physics teaches there is an equal and/or opposite reaction to every action. Michio Kaku uses the pond example. (albiet most scientific theories are just that--theories, but we can see on a small scale the idea).Throw a rock in one side of a body of water, what happens on the other side? Imagine that on an oceanic scale. Then go farther and imagine that also applying to land masses, which are really tethered at various points around the globe. Add all of the differing pressures from magma, boring, drilling, experiments with weather modification, rifting zones, pollution, ice melt, heat, wind, super cell storms, gravity, plate subduction, moon phases, volcanoes, earthquakes, and yes for good measure throw in pole shift, the wobbles, animal die offs, magnetosphere breakdown, chemtrails and haarp etc. It all appears to be very connected--to me--So why hasn't someone connected all of these strange happenings?
My money is on an inter-connected earth response to all of the above.
