Of course. My only intention here was to answer Bible questions FROM the Bible. So you people that keep asking me to answer in my own words, please learn to read. My opinion is just as good as yours, so why even ask me? But the Bible's opinion is quite different...why do you think so many people are so "tore up" over this thread?

All the verses you you quoted I have read over 20 times already. I know exactly where they are as well. Here is some advise, don't get your life doctrine from the book of Matthew, Acts, or Hebrews.

You will just get all screwed up in Jewish tribulation doctrine that does not apply to Christians today.

Read Matthew chapter 5 through 7. How much of that do you think YOU are suppose to follow? How about Matthew chapter 24 and 25?

If you followed Jesus's teachings in these passages, you would end up in hell when you died just like the rich man in Luke 16.

You get your New Testament doctrine from Paul's letters. He is the apostle to YOU (gentiles) after all.

Once again, if you follow what Jesus said in these texts, you would have to chop your hands and feet off, pluck your eyes out and sell all you got. You would die lost on you way to hell.

Do you know why???!?!?! All these thing sound a lot like WORKS don't they? And every good Christian knows,

Ephesian 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. "

Jesus was sent to the Jews my friend, and thus most of what the Gospels say....deal with the Jews. Not Christians. You must "rightly divide the word of God".

Isaiah 28:13
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them PRECEPT upon PRECEPT, PRECEPT upon PRECEPT; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. "

2 TIMOTHY 2:15
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY dividing the word of truth. "

First off, Romans, malichi,psalms and proverbs were not written about or in the words of christ, i regard them as stories and nothing more...

So why does God hate Esau...?

God didn't hate either of them, but hate was in Esau's heart "because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him" I would have to read up on jacob, he probably had great possessions or a great love of God, for whatever reason Esau was jelous of Jacob...

Again why i ask people to read Christs words before the rest of the bible.... Lets see the difference

Hooray! A star But please do read the revelation stuff, it explains EXACTLY what the 144k people are. But if your not interested in that, I would have glazed over it too...

God really sounds just like us humans doesn't 'he'?

I mean, humans are petty, filled with Hatreds for many things that don't fit into their thinking.. and somehow, we BELIEVE 'God" does the same as us.

Isn't that a bit silly of us to Expect an Omnipotent Being to have any human Characteristics?

Lots of people can live their lives without any Hatred, and yet here is 'God' filled with Hatred for things we supposedly do... it makes no sense to me.

Sooo you understand that Jesus was not sent to the Gentiles then? And most of his teachings were for the Jews in the coming Tribulation? OR they could have applied while he was on earth IF the Jew accepted him as Messiah. Do you understand this, I'm serious, VERY few people do, which is why there are over 50 different Christian denominations.

Well, we were originally created in HIS IMAGE you know....but now we are a much lesser image made after Adam. So yeah, why wouldn't God have the same emotions as us? On a different scale of course.

Jesus was a mumza; he may had been legally the "social" son of Joseph but he was not the biological son of Joseph and thats the bottom line. You can fluff it up all you like but thats fact. Jesus did NOT decend from the House of David simply because he was not blood related. To the high priests of Jerusalem then and the rabbis of present times, they don't agree with you.

Now can someone tell me what Jesus did between the age of 13 and 30?

He was a carpenter before he started his ministry. This means he would have had to have been in a guild and would have travelled where ever the guild needed him to go, most likely the front lines of the Roman Empire as they were the dominant money machine at the time.

You don't just "Be" a carpenter. You have to be trained. In those days you received that training from guilds.

That is just logical speculation and is as worthy as anyone else's.

It does explain how he would have picked up the radical concepts that he was teaching though.

I am most comfortable with my own beliefs; but this is all too confusing.
