Strange sounds!!! Northeast PA...I Wanna KnoW...

i have seen other threads about strange rumbling sounds and flashes of light...i want to put this one out there to see if anyone in my area has witnessed anything like this... i live in sayre,pa..for the past few weeks or so i have been seeing and hearing strange things outside...i dont live near an airport or near railroad tracks for me to be able to say that what these noises and flashes are could be coming from something like that..i havent thought about posting it on here because i tell my girlfriend who is usaully sleeping when things happen because they usually happen later at night about what i heard and saw and she tells me im seeing things and that i spend too much time on here and im going crazy..well im not going crazy because i just showed another thread to her and shes like wow maybe you arent just making things up..when these things happen im usaully laying in bed and all of a sudden ill see blue flashes coming through my curtain..ill hear sounds like extended thunder but no clouds in the sky...last night this occured. it sounded like a train going right by my window but nothing was there for the sound to be coming from..about a week ago it sounded like a very large bomb going off right after one of the blue flashes and it actually shook us enough to where we both got out of bed and went to the window to only hear a faint rumble in the distance. it has gotten to the point now where i expect toexperiance these things every night and so far if not every night at least every other... i feel that theres is something very wierd going on and the whoevers are being very hush hush about

what made me decide to post what i have seen is the post that has this first video...i figured why not ask if anyone in my area has experianced what i have...got enough nerve to actually do it after my girlfrien took back saying i was crazy when she noticed these things happening too..my experiances are and arent like the one in the video..its wierd to me how similar but different the 2 acccounts are...

Thought that I'd reply since I'm from Athens. Last night was pretty weird at around 2 or 3 in the morning... I heard some strange sounds and there was a definite change in pressure from what I could "feel." I can't verify that it was the same as the many post's on ATS but it was definately out of the ordinary.

Have you added your information to the sounds maps on the other threads?

It might be interesting to see if any of these sounds have "Earthquake Lights" associated with them before/during/after the sounds and/or not an earthquake?

Please help to spread the word to as many people as possible to quickly build the database as this information and map may prove to be quite timely - especially to people in the Yellowstone/New Madrid/West Coast/Alaska areas.

Will America's Nuclear Power Plants Fail in an 8.0 Earthquake?

Figured I'd chime in since I'm in NEPA, too. Williamsport to be exact. I haven't hear anything out of the ordinary the past couple days/nights. I'm usually up until 2 or 3 in the morning, too. Our weather hasn't been great so far this week, maybe it was the wind? I don't say that to try to downplay what you heard. All I know is some times the wind sounds like it's going to rip up everything in its path.

I don't know what your location is like. Maybe the flashes are headlights. Maybe you're thinking about the reports of strange noises and applying that to sights and sounds you've heard before but dismissed. I don't know and I'm not trying to say you didn't hear what you're saying you did.

Whatever the case, I haven't heard or seen anything strange over in Williamsport.

No you are not crazy. I've heard it here (Tunkhannock, PA area) as has another friend and fellow sensitive. Broad daylight, nice day, no flash for me. It sounds like a low flying military jet (my only point of reference), but no doppler effect, no jet (or planes of any kind). I'm in the middle of no where country.

Yes, it's unnerving, but my gut feeling is UFO. Call me crazy all you want, that's what my first instinct said. I'm choosing not to freak out about it. Time will tell, and there's nothing I can do about it.

So I ask you, respectfully, what do you think it is? Not what other people say, but what is in your gut?

I'm convinced most are practice for some spectacular show for dumb-downs, to come.

I live in Johnstown, PA, and awoke this morning at 4a.m. to a very strange noise that sounded similar to a train, low-flying jet, or howling wind, but was clearly not any of those. There wasn't any engine noise or rhythmic clicking on the tracks for it to be a train, plus it was coming from the wrong direction. It was too steady and loud to be a plane, and there wasn't any wind. It was one of the strangest things I ever experienced. There has to be a real explanation for this phenomena. I've heard that electromagnetic waves are the cause, but that doesn't seem to explain why this hasn't been happening all my life. There is something from within recent years that is causing this.
