Yeah I just saw that, such loss is heartbreaking.
The picture on yahoo also has a caption

A photographer holds a radiation detector indicating 0.35 microsieverts per hour at a devastated factory area hit by earthquake and tsunami in Sendai, northern Japan, March 20, 2011.

That is so heart-breaking. My heart goes out to all of those in Japan. This is truly a sad week for us all around the globe. To bad disasters like this don't help all the governmenst to come together as one, and strive for a common goal.

i just hope the goddess helps them out over there, and we can resolve all the problems as soon as possible

Oh no...(from the article linked in the OP)

Tokyo's tap water, where iodine turned up Friday, now has cesium. Rain and dust are also tainted

Notice how LITTLE information they provide about the cesium? They don't tell you how much, they don't tell you what kind, they don't tell you ANYTHING. Just that they found some.

Good God, if that was me, I would assume the lack of information means it's bad. How can they expect people to not freak out if they are given so little information?

I believe that the death toll will be over the 100K mark by the time that it is all said and done.
