We won the USA fair and square in a battle just like the Palestinians won fair square and the Balfour treaty said that they cant have it. That is why. It is not over because they stole the land illegally that was won fair and square in a battle.

Mybe a little off topic, but...

The argument above is following a pattern I see all the time.. Adult Vs Youth mentality. So far the Youth has argued exactly like my teen daughter does to everything offered by the more mature person. And this tells me it is not worth the argument because one day the youth will grow up, gain some small amount of Wisdom and maybe, just maybe start to see with open eyes the stupidity in herent in youth.. just like we all did when we finally grew up.

Can you enlighten me which war the Palestinians won over Israel, you keep stating this but I have seen no record of this and by the same argument since the creation of the state of Israel, they have won every war so your argument seems null and void?

Lol it's amazing that even when the story is about Israel suffering 50 rocket hits, some posters will still go on with their rambling about how Israel is the devil, while some other shout "yeah take out the Zionists!!".

This is why I don't participate in threads regarding Israel on ATS anymore. People just want to whine and whine and whine.

You know when I posted this article up, I wasnt so concerned with the facts of who is right and who is wrong. It is obvious people have their own opinions and that.

It was more about that fact that they are at it again at this point in time, when most people are focused on Japan and Libya. Face it, if neither of those two things were going on, this would be much bigger news, and yes, people would be venting their opinions about it.

So for me. it is more about the timing. I havent really seen anything else about it since this post and that makes me wonder too... What is really going on and why arent we hearing More about it. You know it can't be over all ready. To me if it is anything like that past, that should have just been the first pitch. There is a lot more to this ball game then we are hearing about right now and That is what concerns me.

How old are you, 12? Seriously, you should at least brush up on your history before making such ignorant comments! The fact is that it was the Romans that renamed the biblical land of Israel to Palestine. The last empire to occupy the land before it was given back and split between the Jewish and arabic population's residing there was the Ottoman empire. Before being divided into three countries, the area was known as Trans-Jordan. The vast majority of modern day Jordan is the same tribe as the Palestinian and really should be a Palestinian nation, unfortunately the British in their infinate wisdom placed a 'Hashemite' Royal Family upon the people of Jordan.

Upon declaration of independence the Palestinians aided by all arab countries declared war on Israel. The Palestinians have never won any wars, strange that you cite the Balfour Decloration but seem to lack any real history or facts.

Whether you like it or not, Jewish people have always lived in Israel, you only have to see the historic sites and tombs to realise that. FFS, Yeshua ben Yosef (Jesus to you) was Jewish.

If your argument was justified history would show that the Palestinians won the wars of 1948, 1967 and 1973 and they would own the land rightfully won in war. The argument most people have is not that Israel exists but that they have occupied terrorities previously given to the Palestinians by the UN the same time Israel's independance was granted. Israel occupied those territories because they won them in war, but you only recognise land won in war is valid when its not Israel doing it, such hypocrisy!

Now my opinion is that Israel, should dismantle all the settlements in occupied territories of the West Bank, withdraw their forces to pre 1967 borders (not including the Golan Heights, which was won in war against Syria and essential to Israels defence) and let the Palestinians set up their state. Should the Palestinians attack Israel thereafter, then they will stupidly harming themselves. The Palestinians have rights to live, work and celebrate within their own borders under self determination. Unfortunately, their own leaders are the biggest obsticle to peace, Barak when PM offered to agree to all of the PA's demands including East Jerusalem and Yassar Arafat turned down the peace offer. Unfortunately that rejection has led to Israeli's realising that the leadership of the Palestinians don't really want a peace agreement and now the 'right wing' Netanyahu government has power.

We can only live in hope of peace!

Basically firing rockets onto their own soil then? Hehe, or a falseflag operation to stall the peace talks, as IsraHELL's time is running out according to my watch. Soon a few western countries are going to ackowledge the two state solution this year, even if peace talks fail. It's about time too, Israel are quick to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge (that was written by one of their own prophets even, appears they haven't changed much).
