Could that just be from Qadafi shaking in his boots.

And before anyone says anything yes i know it said Iran and Qadafi is Libya. Since Libya is big news over there I went that route.

OK care to elaborate? What is so amazing about this quake? Iran gets quakes all the time, and a 4.7 is hardly huge? So I ask again whats the deal here?

Funny, but I was just about to post about my curiosity as to why Iran gets these quakes.

I have noticed that while it is not out of the ordinary for Iran to have an EQ on an average of 4-5 in MAG, I was wondering if anyone knew more about the geography in that zone and can explain why it seems to be only Iran?

I know Turkey has theirs also, but Iran is quite regular.

Anyone?

The activity in the earth is far beyon normal and the densitet is higher than normal, all these events are abnormal in that meaning that they all happands with short time between them. futher moore are the quakes getting stronger and stronger by the hour.

the quake in japan unleashed enough tectonic momentum to spread across the globe, this one most likely being another arrangement to get more comfortable

Southern Iran has numerous quakes especially within this strength. Thats what I am referring to.
It's kinda like saying that Kansas getting an F2 tornado is odd. Get my question?

Well the Japan quakes would be expected, their island just moved by 8 feet during the recent quake. And as far as the others on that list to me looks like what I would see everyday when I had quake alert active on my desktop. Now that was a year ago. The spots registering to me all sound like familiar areas that receive those strengths fairly often. Perhaps I missed something I glanced quickly. And most if not all of those are located within the ring of fire, again an area recently very active and expected.

Yeah, the last 48 hrs have seen the West Coasts of North and South America increasing in intensity. These coasts have a lot of quakes daily but the MAG has increased.

I agree with what you are saying however due to the number of earthquakes and the magnitude wich is higher than normal makes this earthquakes a bit noticible.

I figured i would repost these pictures here as well.

Thought that the activity is very interesting.

Without a doubt something is going to move around that perimeter, it has to considering the amount of energy released during the Japan quake. I fully agree with that, now I guess it's just a matter of when. And me thinks we will find out soon. But on the positive side those numerous smaller quakes could be a blessing in disguise, releasing smaller amounts of energy avoiding the bigger quake that could be looming elsewhere.
