Hi guys, this is my first post. Just like to say i've been looking on ATS for about 6 months or so now and i find quite a lot of the topics on here
quite interesting. Anyway....
Just casually watching the tv when the new Homefront game advert comes on. To me, although i may be looking too much into it, it's as though they are
preparing us for things to come. Why is there any need to show a child looking up in the sky, when the mother grabs a rocket near him and passes it to
the father to fire at a helicopter in the sky. It just seemed a bit too much just to advertise a video game. It clearly depcits a vision of what could
become real, if a war broke out. Fair enough i understand that they need to use persuasive devices for the buying public, target audience. But with
all these "messages" in adverts, movies etc. I thought maybe this could be one too.
