I always thought that Ann looks like a blonde, almost cute, Alien infiltrator... now here's the final proof she really is!

Yep. I am sure she would be happy basking in the poisonous, radioactive, ammonia, sulfa, methane loaded atmosphere of Jupiter. I bet we could talk Richard Branson into sending her there.

I'll pay for her ticket.

I think it's more likely that simply shutting down the internet would be to obvious. With all the people streaming cpm from sites all over the world they can't stop them all so, they have to downplay fears by distorting facts.

"There's no radiation folks. Everything's fine."
What about these independent readings?
"Oh, well, there's plenty of research showing it's good for you at these levels."

I really think they are expecting the entire country to have consistent change from an average of 10 - 30 cpm to a norm between 50 and 150 cpm. That's all they were saying. Radiation will reach 5 times the previous yearly supposedly safe level. There is no substance to the report. You cannot compare unlike events without a standard. So, is her standard that radiation is all the same? There are so many different variables here. Half-lives, gamma, alpha, etc., it's not even an educated argument. The fact is she is a talking head. The infighting caused by the ludicrous nature of her statements only stand to prevent further inquiry. My physics and chemistry professors must have shot themselves when they heard this crap.

I'm thinking Ann may be humping for a job at the Onion News Network.

I seem to remember her helping to break the recent story about the hovercraft being bought by L.A.

I sure would hate to see Brook Alverez loose her anchor job to Ann.

I know Ann would never settle for being the new "Tucker"!!

Well, then lets save those hard working Japanese people trying to stop the Nuclear plant form having a full on melt down, and send her in to fix them... hey, it's good for her, right?

The article talks about it being good for radiation therapy on cancer patients... My god... It is NOT a healthy thing and it does great damage to the body and people who go through radiation therapy become very sick.. Why? because it is poison! They are literally trying to kill the cancer cells with poison... and in the process you get very sick...

The sheer stupidity of some.... Anne... Just shut up.

This comment of hers that radiation is good for you doesn't make sense on so many levels. She is a hard core republican so it would make more sense if she said radiation was bad for you to make Obama look bad, but by defending radiation she is basically aggreeing with Obama that the situation in Japan is not that bad, but of course it's just a ridiculous statement to say that some radiation is good for you, even if that were true it would only apply to very small amounts if even then it is good for you but probably not but a nuclear meltdown is not a small amount!

Saying garbage like this is her bread and butter....and by paying attention to it your proving her point that trolls prosper.

Point is, I think many people are freaking out over this, when there is a small chance that radiation levels will reach critical levels in North America from the Japanese nuclear reactors. If you are concerned, then prep for it, but I am seeing too many people stressing over this (and a lot of people making some cash from getting people worked up over it)

Ann Coulter: 'Radiation is Actually Good For You'

I think I figured out what he was trying to say:

1) Nuclear radiation sends out various particles, Alpha, Beta and Gamma. So it's like Alpha Bet Soup! Good fer ya'!

2) It helps evolution along because it increases genetic mutations! So evolutionary science and Darwinism support it!

3) Mutations are GOOD because we need CHANGE we can believe in!

4) We and our pets and wildlife will all be better off because we will develop extra humps to store much needed water and food after our successful mutations.

Ther must be so many reasons to get more NUKE.

Why do people like this even get air time? We have enough hate in this world that we have to bombard the air ways with insensitive a$$holes like her. Why do these people get paid for this crap? I swear if you're mean spirited, have poor morals, a racist, break laws, are disrespectful and lewd, you can make a lot of money and become a celebrity overnight.

Yeah, that's it. We've effectively driven 90% of the species off this planet and now that science realizes their necessity they are hoping for mass evolution. All the world's problems are solved by fallout. I want a pet mole-rat!!!
If you wait for someone to tell you what to do, you will die. And anyone taking their marching orders from TV need to re-evaluate their reality.

Thus far you have completely avoided answering any query I have posed to you and replied with only distraction tactics and misdirection.

Funny (read hypocritical) that you avoided my request for you to repeat the supposed unaddressed queries you queried about. I went back through my posts and realize that I did, in fact, comment on every point you made, and addressed your every query. Maybe, like Ann, you realized this after you posted?

Also you did not notate your "sarcasm" as such.

I just remembered that on page one of this thread I made some claims about jumping off a building being good for you. I also said that drinking bleach helps you lose weight, and that eating rat poison is nutritious and raises your IQ. Since it's too late to go back and edit those posts, I wanted to let you know that those were also sarcastic statements. I was not serious so please do not go jump off a building, drink bleach, or eat rat poison.

She is an idiot for reporting what several independent scientific studies from around the world are saying about low level dosages of radiation having a positive effect on the body?

No, Ann Coulter is an idiot for reporting this:

"With the terrible earthquake and resulting tsunami that have devastated Japan, the only good news is that anyone exposed to excess radiation from the nuclear power plants is now probably much less likely to get cancer."
-Ann Coulter

You know why? Because no one checks them any more. They can say anything they want. Why? Because even on this site 90% of the quotes and links go right back to them. There are several members on ATS that routinely post scientific papers, medical studies, historical documents, and journals. These are sources of information. But we live in a society that believes they can learn something from a TV.
You can't! "I saw this show on the Discovery Channel about...and there was an expert on there who said...", I hear this all the time. So, the producer of the show, if he is honest, designs the show around what the experts tell him. The same experts that you are complaining about lying on the "News". They control information from the top down. They get to vet every single word you hear, learn, and see. The only way to get to the truth is to realize that every single article is based around 1 fact and the rest is lies. So, if a bomb goes off in a church and kills 50 people, they will have to write a story because something happened in the world and people will at least know that much. A gas leak or something uplifting. How many of you have downloaded Wiki Leaks files or did you read paraphrasing from some mouth piece. Why did they hit that so hard?

And we hear these fools every single day saying something patently uninformed about an extremely irrelevant subject.

I know we must use the sources at our disposal but always consider the source. And please everyone before you jump me. This site and a few others are my only hope in this world. You all possess the curiosity and passion, it is evident in your writings here. Dig deeper is all I'm saying.

If you don't watch them (TV, not politicians!) they will die! Seriously, tell enough people on earth to turn off their TV, cellphone, radio, and computer. After a week they would starve.

I am just as guilty as the other 6.9 billion of us.

Radiation was good to Anne Coulter...
it looks very well preserved
which proves it is not good for US
though it hasn't prevented its thought proccesses from showing signs of decay...this can be attributed to the destruction of esential brain matter through intense exposure to airport scanners

PS
there is a clip from a socal station claiming mercury is good for you
I wouldn't go to so cal to get chemo
