Alien Abductions Linked to dream like state?

I Just got done wacthing a show on scifi about how scientist now think that the alien abductions that ppl talk about under hipnoses might be cuased by a electrict pluse that almost macthes the electrical pluse our own brains produce, cuaseing a dream like state to happen, in which, what ever your subconcis is thinking, happens, but, becuase it is a dream, it is easly forgotten, which would explain why ppl sometimes only remember them during hipnosis, but tht would only explian some of the abductions.
