And just so you guys know CPM above 100 is not dangerous. CPM above 100 just indicates that something else besides the background is likely contributing to the reading. To put it in perspective, you get roughly 360 CPM when flying.

I didn't do the math because it's all in sieverts and microsieverts but even 1,000 CPM is not dangerous. It does mean something abnormal is going on though so I would probably get away from the area at that point.

to stay on topic i think that guys foot to my head knocked some radiation into me no but seriously ya i watch ufc. are coach is a 2 time world champion needless to say i lost both of my fights today

Well is it just normal fluctations or should increases be noted. At the coast near Vancouver it was 12 all yesterday. Then a couple minutes ago 15. I just refreshed the page and its 19. I know there is a range above 100 that is more of a worry, but still kind of odd to climb from 12 to 19 in a day.

Cancel that, it went to 17. Not sure, but I think its supposed to be Friday anyway for some parts and longer for others.

I think there are waves or spikes in radiation coming in. Now its 21. Its normally 11 or 12.

Thanks for denying ignorance Anned. Good clarification. I especially like the part about the granite counter tops. I don't think i'm going to worry about radiation until the levels get closer to that of a kitchen counter!
