Dogs are smarter than humans these days.

That's so sad... A complete display of loyalty. All this seems so surreal to me. I wish the best for the animals and people of Japan.

Thank you for all of the warm and sincere replies. Humanity isn't entirely jaded and unable to see the love and beauty in the gesture of one animal and his loyalty to another.

Thanks. That is a wonderful story, especially to know that they are at the vets and receiving care. So much sorrow attached to this terrible tragedy that it always helps to have one like this one to cheer us up a bit. Thank Heaven for the men who conducted the search. Their voices told the story in the tone of their attitudes...I really enjoyed this one.

Well.....I just finished doing my makeup, and now I have to go fix it.....*crying* I hope his friend survives and they can stay together.....such loyalty....I love animals.
