I got a small/big question to ya all
Do you state with you LIFE that there exists other intelligent lifeforms out in the big universe?
Do you believe that much there exists other intelligent lifeforms out in the big universe that you would bet you entire life/existence on it?
I would. Infact I am doing it right now. I bet my entire life/existence that there exists other intelligent life forms in the huge universe.
Signed with blood

Would you?

I would bet my life that there are other forms of intelligent in the vast universe. I dont think I would want to live in a universe were humans are the only form of intelligent life.

That's a bet you can't lose. We can never explore the entire universe, so it's impossible to falsify the hypothesis that there is intelligent life somewhere in the universe. It is a bet without consequences.

A better bet would be: "Human civilization will find unrefutable evidence of an alien intelligence within this century." This can simply be falsified by not finding evidence within this century. I would like to see how many are willing to bet their life in this bet.

Hmmmmmm. Why is it important to you whether or not someone would bet their life on this?
I would, but why would I need to? Just curious...

Never say never...besides, they could always come HERE and prove it, hehe....

Yep, I'd stake my life on it...as I had only one sighting in my life, but there is NO doubt in my mind that they weren't ours.....

I believe there is extraterrestrial life but IMHO swearing your life on it and offering your blood (metaphorically I hope) for a sacred oath as proof in your belief is a bit extreme. No, it is extreme.

And what do I win if there is intelligent life?

Im beting a lot here: my life. The prize should be worthy...

There is no intelligent life anywhere in the unverse including EARTH.
This includes HUmans.

I strongly, very strongly believe that extraterrestrial life exists. If life can exist in deep sea ocean floors (no sunlight), highly acidic environments, hydrothermal vents, etc. then why not!

Betting life on this is kinda extreme, but i would go for it for the sake of my belief.

In this vast universe and possibly other universes, I, RivyBeAsT stake my LIFE on there being other intelligent, sentient life forms besides what is found on the planet Earth in the Sol system.

i will bet my life that there is other lifeforms out there,

i would also bet my life that some are inteligent.
coz if there arnt there would be no point in living.

i hope i find out in my life time that there are others

i would hate to never ever know for shure.

i once saw a u.f.o. clearly and unmistakeable
and was for shure in my eyes that it was not of this earth.
i also accept the possibility i was hallucinating.

i can never know for shure only that i belive!!!

You may count me in as one of the blood oath takers on this issue......its a bet I wont loose either. Earth is just ~NOT~ the center of the universe....and ~NOT~ the end all BE ALL of life in this universe.

I would bet my life that there is intelligent life somewhere in the universe. With the universe being as big as it is and as old as it is I think this is a pretty safe bet.

Now, would I bet my life that intelligent life is visiting Earth right now or has in the past? Not a chance in hell.

...how would we recognise an intellegent species, if it was totally different from us? If it was smarter than us, and different enough, it may never let on as to what it is, especially if it has a motivation to remain hidden.

An embedded intellegent organism, one established and embedded into the environment, may look entirely innocuous to us naive monkeys. It may have been around longer than us, an ET could have arrived in the Cretaceus era for all we know, and disguised itself to look like a mushroom or a legume or what ever. How would we recognise a shy alien that was here longer than our species? What would such a creature be like?
