Hmmm interesting... but oh wait... As another poster mentioned, you don`t have any evidence and this is just your opinion. Well we don`t discuss opinions here at ats... it`s just not welcome.

I would have forgiven that offense, but, as yet another vigilant poster said, this has been brought up 30, or 2000 years ago. One or the other. Either way, if it has been talked about, by some people, in some place, at some time, it doesn`t need to be talked about again. surely not here..... please use the search function, I`m sure you`ll see that there is already an ongoing thread about the bible. one is all we need.

I just can`t understand what would make you think this is ok... It`s a good thing we have posters who care enough to follow you from thread to thread making sure you know how they feel. Some of us would be too busy moving on to something else after already expressing our opinions in the one thread, but thanks to those who literally have nothing better to do, we can now see to it that justice is served in the land of bible prophecy.

It`s too bad, because I was gonna say this sounds exactly like what a lot of people think and in my opinion is probably true, but since it`s based on opinion and has been mentioned before somewhere in the past 2000 years, I`m not interested...

The mark of the beast has to do with a purely cashless money system, GLOBALLY.

You see if it wasn't, and the mark of the beast is around when we still have physical currency, people can still

buy and sell under blackmarkets or through family/friends without the mark. That would be contradicting scripture.

It's clear that it is this. It has to be a point in time in where we are under global cash-less money system and

that ONE item allows us to buy or sell.

Civilizations were buying and selling long before currency was implemented. It's called trading.

The cashless society does not mean no more buying or selling, it will mean no physical money. Credits will be used in it's place.

The mark on the forehead is cryptic, can mean anything or nothing at all. It could be a seemingly accidental scarring of the forehead or symbolic as when Hiram was struck in the forehead with a sword.

Well, the thing is, 666 is also the sign of the sun...it was taken and demonized by the religion, and made to be the devil's sign.

So, it could refer to the 18 digit code as you say, but thats not taking into account its original meaning.

Someone earlier brought up the passage that speaks of us not knowing the time when he will return. And in that quote it spoke of a peace before all hell breaks loose.

Here is my argument to this whole concept of the prophecy in the bible and how it makes little sense to me. This world peace is labeled as a bad event. Like its something we all must dread as this will surely mean our doom and the end of the world. How can this be?

World peace seems like a pretty good thing to hope for IMO.

Also the whole concept of free will. God knows everything and all that will happen because he went to the end and then came back to the beginning. So, do we really have free will? Based on the above I think not. And even if we do, seems to me God knew all this was going to happen...he knew Lucifer would defy him and new Adam and Eve would sin and he created us without the ability to follow his rules (Natural Sinners). So he made rules and then he made our nature such so it is impossible to follow all those rules and then the punishment is to burn in a pit of misery for all eternity. Yet he loves us....

Then we have this mark of the beast thing... So regardless of what the mark of the beast is, most christians will tell you that it is something that the world will be tricked into doing... Something that is essential for survivial, such as the RFID chip. I can not fathom again God would make us all burn in hell for a choice that we do not have....because as I understand it, the one world order will require that we take this mark, or we will be shunned from society. So again, we either accept death or life in a society that provides from the stories....World Peace.

The ultimate deception, so the majority, that do not think or believe as Christians believe, recieve eternal damnation.

Actually the verse in question,

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark ON their right hand, or ON their foreheads...."

...says ON, and not IN in the original texts. This caused me to discount RFID implants as the mark of the beast. Since then though, they have developed an E-Commerce Invisible Bar Code tattoo which allows for the same technology to be ON the skin and no longer necessarily implanted.

I'd say it's the perfect control system. Swipe it to pass checkpoints, pay taxes, shop etc... if you don't have one then you probably belong in a FEMA camp - I can't see anyone managing to escape detection in an urban setting once this system is implemented.

The time is fast approaching where those of you who discount God because cannot you understand Scripture will gain a new perspective on the issue: you will then be able to make an informed choice without having to subscribe to your pastor's 'Israel first' obssessions and unsound doctrine. It will take courage, as the right choice in this case will cost you your very lives.

No-one will enter the New Age without making a choice, and I believe this quote nicely sums up the intentions of the Occult Elite:

The mark of the beast in this sense will be the sign confirming your oath to Lucifer, without which you will be an outcast who will not be fit to enter the 'New Age' ...

I hope that when confronted with the choice, for those that survive the catastrophic events of 2012-2013 (Revelation's 6th Seal), you will see things as they are, and turn, and be saved. The Lord has made things easy for you, as his universal prescription for you, no matter the situation you find yourselves in, may be summed up in one word: 'Repent'. Just a little humility is all that will be required, and I have high hopes that humility will be in vast supply after the coming cataclysms....

Don't discount Scripture because the interpretations given to verses by various idiots remain unconvincing: do yourselves a favor and sit on the fence - it will soon become apparent which side to jump back down....

So if I'm correct in my understanding of what's being said here, the global population is going to be even more enslaved than it is now, manipulated by the few so that we are forced to tow 'their' line in order to feed ourselves and families.

And, as a punishment for living such a miserable existence, the christian god is going to shut the door to heaven in our faces and condemn us to eternal damnation.

With friends like that, who needs eneimies?

You might try reading 'The Ascendency of the Scientific Dictatorship' with regards to what is really irrational. Having said that, you are right, organized religion is the main stumbling block for millions of naive 'followers' - do try to distinguish the above from spiritual realities though. Patience, much will be revealed soon.

As for what might soon be revealed, my eyes are wide open.

I believe that the number 666 is just a representation of an imperfect number. 7 being perfect and 6 imperfect. 6 repeated 3 times in order to emphasise the imperfection.

Therefore the mark of the beast is the mark that the imperfect governments of this world give to their servants. The ones who are not giving there service to god.

In my opinion, money is indeed the root of all evil. If there is a mark of the beast, it is indeed money.

I had heard a couple months ago that our state (Illinois) is wanting to up-date everyone's drivers licenses by the year 2012. I guess they want to add the RFID chip to them to track people....our credit history,education..etc everything on the license. I hope to God it isn't true.

Well, I think it will be cool when we can have a set of chips implanted to give us direct access to web, communications and our location (like gps) with a type of virtual heads up display imposed on our optic nerves. Along with some kind of local storage for things we want to keep or remember. Luxury item would include computer making our body exercise while the nind was doing something else. Interfaces to transportation (drive with computer/mind), devices and maybe other people.
