Though I will say that so far, anything is possible in 2012. Just look at the way things have gone this year and we're not even done with the first 3 months!

Are you insinuating that the movement of celestial bodies is causing the riots?

The only way I would see this is if these celestial objects somehow augment our field and somehow create a possible disturbance wave that augments our psych and mind causing us perhaps to be much more aggressive, due to a different chemical balance in our bodies and thereby explaining the riots . I don't know if there is any scientific proof to what I just said since it can be brushed off as mumbo jumbo, but I just pieced basic science, such as the fact that

1) Field exists
2) A disturbance may caused just like a stone ripple in water
3) some kinda of effect due to the disturbance I guess

anyone know about this kind of stuff?

I also heard that during the first Tunguska event, I think it happened at night and the whole night sky would light up white as though the sun was coming up , and people could see this all the way from London, England. So keep an eye out I guess because we'll probably know =/.

Can you point me to somewhere I can read about this, or proof of some kind. I always thought the Tesla causing it was a rumor but you say he wrote he caused it, is there any proof on the internet of him writing this ? How do you know/where did you hear this. Thanks for the response if you have time.

It's a reply from me on another thread at the bottom of the page. Something I notice on Saturday in the sky, it's been there since.

So I was watching this youtube video about crystal skulls last night (the guy may be slightly crazy?) however he mentioned where we are on the galactic spin (galaxy alignment - something already mentioned by others) and here he is in this video/recording (posted 2009) predicting major weather/earth events although not doomsday around 2012 including (at 8 minutes): "we should be very, very careful and protect ourselves from a release of radioactivity that could take place if any of these earth changes occur where there is a nuclear plant". Well that's happening now for sure!

Very interesting read, mainly for all the feedback.

Something that I find fascinating is the following, relating to the recent fish & bird deaths preceding these major quakes, especially as similar events preceded the devastating 2004 earthquake:

Before you discount the crazy alternatives, remember that animals were acting strangely before the tsunami hit eastern Asia in 2004. Animals often know what is going on long before we do. The bird and fish deaths may be something natural – it may be nature serving us a warning that something big is on the way.

Personally I see these type of 'warnings' as one of the best predictors of coming apocolyptic type events.

Im just trying to think positive in this massive event that is taking place.
My disaster plan is well laid out. I felt this coming....and i prepared.

Thank you. Here's Mr Educated talking about soil "liquidfaction" (liquefaction to the rest of us) in a thread about some land in Japan appearing to be breaking up post-quake:

First one here:

2nd one here:

Note how his career is rapidly going in an upward surge: he's gone from one emergency management agency to working with several agencies, & is currently with Homeland Security.

I could go on, but why bother? Understand something please, I'm not dissing the people who come to this thread with fascinating contributions to submit for consideration.
However, there is such a thing as taking an admirable trait like open-mindedness to the level of a fault, when it overrides one's critical thinking.

I don't understand why you stop at Tunguska? There have been many many incidents since that time. We are living at a time in the history of our planetary journey that is unique because we are seeing the turning point of a celestial Great Year. This isn't going to be repeated for a very long time and whole civilizations may rise and fall before it happens again, like the last time.

There is the comet Elenin which is coming towards us and we will see this later this year. I have also seen posts and blogs elsewhere referring to our sun's dark companion star making an appearance. Whether there is anything factual in this I don't know but that would definitely have an impact on our plate tectonics. Another large body interacting with our sun over a long period does give what is to me a more satisfactory explanation of precession.

I can't see any reason to panic or be afraid. We have survived this before or there would be no Mayan calendar. On a personal level, if I die as a result of these events, it will have been a privilege to have seen this time period and anyway I don't believe in death, only change, (from a non-religious view btw)

Ok first of all i would like to start by saying i have no professional qualifications nor do i work for any geological or disaster related organisations. I do however through personal study know a fair bit about astronomy and astrophysics. Also I would like to point out that your expertise do not relate to the prediction of meteor impacts/ atmospheric explosions! I do know about the Tunguska event and I read the wikipedia link you posted. I was particularly interested in the part at the top of tthe page which says

"The explosion is believed to have been caused by the air burst of a large meteoroid or comet fragment at an altitude of 5–10 kilometres (3–6 mi) above the Earth's surface. Different studies have yielded varying estimates of the object's size, with general agreement that it was A FEW TENS OF METERS ACROSS."

I know through a lot of reading and watching documentaries that an object has to be above a certain size to have ANY noticeable gravitational effect on a body in space. If you look at the following page;

you will find that most objects below a radius of 200 KILOMETERS are so small they do not even have enough gravity to become spherical. If they cant even become spherical themselves how can we expect a gravitational effect on Earth big enough to cause earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis??????? And the Tunguska object is only "A FEW TENS OF METERS ACROSS"

In conclusion I DONT SEE ANY REALTION AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
