YOU ARE NOT ON ATS BECAUSE YOU LISTENED TO YOUR PARENTS! They WILL NOT save you, don't let these idiots coddle you. I know its hard to accept now and you can't, that is impossible no matter how hardcore you are. But heed my words....You are on your Own, Survive, Spread your God. Face the future and be judged, knowing you did right, with relief.

Shut up.

Seriously. You have no damned idea what is going on in japan, and you certainly have no bloody right to be trying to goad people into panic.

I've had it up to here with the melodramatic fear mongering on this site.

Please don't start to argue on over here, everyone's just giving advice and prayers, trying to be nice. You never know, prayers might work. It's hope. I know my parents are sort of close-minded and won't listen; however they're still my family and I have to stick with them and listen to them, no matter what. The best i can do is try to convince them. Hopefully everythig goes for the best.

Right.. I know your prayers and condolences do good and you should keep a positive attitude to affect a positive future. This is true BUT, you should not play down the harsh facts that this young man has already been exposed to near lethal levels of radition, if not now than in 10 years. SO SAVE YOUR CONDOLENCES. Help this kid with $hit he needs now. Im not trying to be an a$$hole, it's just that there is no time for mind games right now it is life and death----fearmongering aside----- HATERZ

Dear World:

We have a problem...

Somebody needs to fly in some big fire pumps and lightweight industrial pipe that can be positioned by helicopter to the Fukushima Dai-ichi power plant. The fuel is going to meltdown as I type this. They are trying to use fire pumps to cool the cores but it is not working. They ran out of fuel in one of the pumper trucks last night. We need to keep fuel airlifted to the site.

www.amiantit.com... or something like this...

We are also going to need some strainers to keep the trash out of the end of the pipe since we will be sucking the water out of the ocean.

www.peerlesspump.com...

We also need to get the Air Force to fly the materials over here. I am not kidding about this. Somebody needs to get some C-17s loaded A.S.A.P.

I am a fluent Japanese communicating HAZWOPER license holder. With the right PPE, I feel we can do this to save these people we love dearly.

www.radshield.com...

I'll go in!

I am posting this on every news and social website that I can to get help.

Yes, I wish I could just run off and try to escape this, but I can't. I don't have a plane, a car, and I can't just play grand theft auto and do what I want. I don't have an idea on what to do right now! All I can do is just play it safe, have common sense, don't go outside much, wait for evacuation if any, or just survive til Saturday if Narita airport is open and hope no radiation has reached the west coast of the USA. Then I'll end up coming back, but unfortunately somewhere where here is more water (Yokosuka in Japan) so tsunami would not be good. Yes the main game now is to survive, but there's rules too. I'm just hoping for the best

What a mature young man you are, a credit to your nation & parents.
Some folks seem to think you should get all tooled up and try outrun some invisable cloud of death on foot. Yeah right, sense that makes none.

Damn man.
You are truly a wonderful human.
Im proud to be part of this life experience interacting and reading all of this.
I pray your family makes it out of there.
A strong belief in God has been proven to keep you safe.
Thats why some people can drink poison and not be effected due to their strong belief.
Im not saying that is what will work for you...but its worth a shot

Stay safe friend.

Stop telling him what to do. Stop. He clearly has a good head on his shoulders, is taking the necessary pre-cautions and actively trying to get out. He JUST said he has no means of transportation or way of getting out until at least Saturday.

If everyone listened to advice like this, the country would be in a constant state of panic. Stop contributing to the already unnerving fact that there was just an earthquake, tsunami and nuclear reactor issues.

From your link:

1409: More on the US Army's radiation alert at the Yokosuka and Atsugi bases. In a statement, the Seventh Fleet said: "These measures are strictly precautionary in nature. We do not expect that any United States federal radiation exposure limits will be exceeded even if no precautionary measures are taken."

Go to bed, get some rest.
