According to Zecharia Sitchin, the Annunaki seem to be the first to bring craft to Earth. However saying that, there has been a lot of conversation about other races visiting Earth as well.

I think the main idea here is that alien technology has been "drip fed" into our own technology, once again according to Col. Phillip Corso.

It also seems to be that most of the visitation by off world craft have been associated with "The Grays".

Seems to me like the "Grays" are the worker bees for a superior race of ET'.

In essence, our whole human history has been covered up, including where we came from and a hell of a lot of other stuff pertaining to our race.

The wait is killing me, however I'm trying to read as much as I can.

There are so many pieces of ancient art that depicts UFOs and/or alien looking beings that it seems as if they have been visiting us for ages or that we designed these craft ourselves and used them to leave Earth and over time the proof turned to dust.

The amount of stories, mainly in religion that have characteristics of UFOs is incredible. It makes me wonder if they were helping us at some point, but then had to back off because we've become so violent towards one another. It's possible they provided us with the ideas and/or resources but gave up when our greed overpowered our good intent.

It's possible that advanced beings could just hate our guts for being so war hungry and evil.

You never know, there are ruins under the ocean just now being discovered and carbon dating suggest that they go much farther than our oldest known civilizations to date.

I find it very plausible that we as a species may have had several periods of advanced civilization, proof seems to be out there.

Seems we have either destroyed our selves or been devestated and had to start fresh a couple times over the long count.

Not sure I believe the saucers seen today and in recent past are ours though. All the places I take that line of thinking dont seem to pan out .....lol

There are jewels that were found in South America and they look like planes, and even like the space shuttle.

They were built larger by people a few years ago, and the models could fly perfectly. There was a thread about it recently on ATS. I don't remember the tittle, tho.

Also, in South America, there is a mountain side that was engineered and flattened. A the base of the mountain, there was a forest of rubber three. It looks like, when watching the engineering of the mountain, that it was used to launch planes, with gigantic rubber bands! Seriously!

There was a scene where Nostradamus was invited by someone powerful, and he was presented to DaVinci who, as the powerful man said to Nostradamus, was doing copies of ancient technology, but in such a way that it would not work, and seen as harmless by the Church, deflecting the latter's attention from the real, technically sound designs...

I always found that passage intriguing. Was that a bit of truth?

Sumerians could have if Egyptians did. The Egyptians might have learnt from them too. Not that I believe that's the case, just saying if they did then the Sumerians could have had the same.

It wouldn't surprise me if the technology has been and gone millions of years ago. Interestingly I watched a programme yesterday regarding the earth and the universe, that stated the hymalayas are made of rock with sea fossils still in them. So millions of years ago it was just a sea bed, no mountains.

Any civilisatiob could have risen and falled in that length of time.

If ancient civilizatons had such advanced technology why did they use crude stone tools instead of machines, and why did their kids play with wooden horses instead of computer games?
