I see a God who is tired of seeing his creation trapped in their Xboxes, NFL, Beer, Porn, money, and other silly things while turning a blind eye to the suffering of their family around the world. I see a God who is tired of the wars, famines, diseases, and oppression that WE have allowed to take place. See a God desperately trying to get us to wake the hell up before we destroy each other and the world he created for us.

Keep thinking you are better my friend. This is the righting of the world. Pay attention and learn.

I am sorry you feel that way my friend. If you took time to get to know me, perhaps see what else I have posted around this forum, you would not think such.

You have no idea how I love mankind. What breaks my heart is how we treat each other. I am destroyed that in the wealthy countries my family dies from obesity while my poor Brothers and Sisters must suffer through starvation. I am torn apart that my family is burdened under greater and greater oppression, imprisoned, and made to suffer for ever more complex laws and offences. I hate that mothers are left to raise their young on their own, that our daughters have learned only to prostitute their bodies through our mass media, that we suffer so much agony in this life while so few live in exorbitant wealth.

It is the iniquity of this world that breaks my heart my friend.

I can not balance it on my own. Would you have me leave it alone and rejoice in the suffering of the world?

What would you do when you cannot force people to change?

What would you do to end the suffering we allow?

He does my friend! Every time a child cries out in pain it is God saying "Help THIS CHILD!!!"

Every time you see people starving on TV, God is saying "Feed these PEOPLE!!!!"

God isn't a man with a beard chillin in the clouds my friend.

God is the benevolent spirit of all of existence and it is within everything in this creation. We do not see it that way because we choose not to.

God is within each and everyone of us and it is our duty to one another to end our suffering. If one suffers, we all suffer. When the suffering gets too great, something has to snap us out of our delusions.

I know many who supposedly follow God have done horrible things and make it seem as though God can't possibly exist. Some people claim to know God, but in reality have no clue. So they make up their own image and force others to believe it.

Not me. My God shows himself. He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omnibenevolent, Omniscient spirit of all of this creation. And I see him most clearly in my family of mankind.

Oh how it breaks my heart what we have done...

These people are starving due to terrible economic conditions spurred on by social ones. These people want to kill each other, not because they are violent, but because the other guy has stuff that they want."

There is no clear and direct revelation in those images. There is only suffering, and a generalized but not universal reaction that says "this should stop." To call that "God" is to take away the power of that internal goodness, it's outrageous significance as what sets us apart from creatures without moral compasses, and to glorify an outdated explanation of our world.

That's an even worse idea. When you try to shut something down it only becomes stronger. The only thing you can do to really stop this particular thing which you perceive as a great evil is to calmly do exactly what you are doing now -- pointing out that she is a troll/satirist, and that this is disingenuous.

Exactly the opposite, friendo. You are the one who cannot see the divinity in each of us. You ascribe that divinity to something which is not us. You donate that to this thing which you call God. You don't have to believe that God is a beardy man to be doing this -- you claim that it is something within each of us, but then you say it is something greater. That it is God and not us. I see the divinity and iniquity of man far better than you ever can, because I recognize it as exactly that: divinity and iniquity. I need not name it anything else, like you do.

We are a drop of water in a glass of water. The water is in the drop, and the drop is in the water, but the drop is NOT the whole of the water.

The things we do is because we do not see the water that is within us all.

If you claim you do, then prove it. Give all you have to the less fortunate. Lower yourself to the least among us until we have brought all to an equal level. Do this, then I will believe you believe what you claim to believe.
