I really appreciate living somewhere where it's relatively safe. All things considered, they are in pretty bad shape.

Seismologists as the OP points out know Tokyo Bay is years overdue for a ''big one', the 9.0 out in Honshu Bay wasn't it. Whats to come I fear will be far worse if these ruptures hit that line of fault lateral to Tokyo.

Again I ask, if there is nothing to what I am saying about the subduction zone becoming unstable, then what is this?
That is the latest map from here:
earthquake.usgs.gov...
These are critically located quakes, again, right on the line. To me this is indicating a potential for a catastrophe the likes of which humanity has never witnessed. The term "zone tear" I use is only my terminology, but I think it gets across the message. It means a ripping along the subduction zone. And this activity now as circled above is becoming evident all up and down the zone. I don't think anyone can argue that point, because it is right there, in your face. These quakes were not there. It is what I feared, and it is coming true. Very very bad.edit on Sun Mar 13th 2011 by TrueAmerican because: (no reason given)
