Thats just to tragic. I say if nations around the world are willing to give asylum and housing for the time being. to Japanese people who want to leave the country due to radiation and other nature disasters that may come. They have to do it now, But I can imagine that leaving your country is not difficult task to do.

I believe they should start massive evacuations of a large amount of the population. Obviously there still needs to be people found and the plants monitored 24/7, but the destruction just won't stop.

A evacuation of that scale would be a logistical nightmare.

There airports and ports are all suffering to get them out of the country I wouldn't know where to start.
To get to evacuation points some may need to go through radiation, debris and possible aftershocks.

Natural disaster is a part of living on the earth, it happens everywhere.

From my experience with the Japanese I doubt they could packup there life into one bag and walk away, most love there country and lifestyle.

If I was in charge I would recommend people get to highground, seek secure shelter and stay in doors.

The volcanic release in japan and russia( although bad for the environment) has released a lot of the pressure from the moving techtonic plate in this region, this is a good sign and may reduce the likeliehood of another mega quake and finally allowing the japanese nuclear operators to get control of their nuclear reactors, one hopes. .
Thanks gringo

They don't talk about this volcano, cause there is volcano erupting in Japan almost constantly. That same volcano last erupted about 2 weeks ago and its relatively active volcano. Cause Japan is on "Ring of Fire", there is a lot of active volcanoes. So volcano erupting is just normal for in Japan.

And that volcano isn't killer volcano, just small volcano. Last years it has become more active, erupted 1716, 1717, 1771, 1822, 1959, 1991, 2008, 2009 and 2011.

And OFFTOPIC: This volcano was used in James Bond film "You only live twice" as villains secret base

I hope the idea that these volcano's have released pressure.. .would be a big relief in more ways than one.

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry for Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan informs that mud volcano Shihzeyirli located in Gobustan region erupted yesterday. The Ministry reports that the eruption was accompanied by emissions of mud and fire that rose to a height of over 50 m. Currently, the eruption continues with less intensity. The height of emissions does not exceed 1-2 m. Deep cracks formed around the crater. Ministry’s rescue services are operating in the area of eruption. At that, the eruption is reportedly not to pose any threat to the population or agriculture.

It doesn't seem like it was too big but with all the eruptions and quakes going on in the last 3-4 days I feel that there is a connection. So far that's 2 in Russia 1 in Java 1 Azerbaijan and 1 in Japan. Let me know if I missed any.

I'm sure we're all hoping that this is not a chain of events that wont stop..
I know we're all watching a particular volcano....Yellowstone
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Even Hollywood would not be able to recreate the types of horror we would see around the world should this one blow.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about any of it.. quakes, volcanos etc.. we just gotta sit it out and see what happens.

Well, don't feel too left out.

Its about to happen here too. Arkansas, Yellowstone, the activation of the New Madrid Fault Line, and the BP oil disaster. Let me tell you something, if America ends up having a massive quake, it will split America up from New Orleans to Indiana, possibly turning Indiana into a peninsula. What do you think it going to happen with all of the corexit and oil when that rushes right up into the center of America?

This isn't something that's over by a long shot.

Nothing like being optimistic.

Not greatly concerned about this volcano though. Been keeping an eye on the webcam since yesterday.
