Great presentation, thanks for posting it..by the way for those who think it's scripted and kids don't think and know about these things at that age you are wrong. My 10 year old granddaughter knows and talks about all of these things in an intelligent manner and trust me it isn't scripted. She is concerned about her generations future and the planet. These are the kids who change things if it isn't too late, the so called adults today are not doing anything.

Isn't it funny how one child is more intelligent on these matters than the average adult. Adults have been crafted into the system, they've been brainwashed by it, children are our only hope at a different future. Only they can truly see how delusional the adults that run this world actually are.

Well true in a sense its from the right upbringing ... what make those kids

Expose the Corruption to them .. let them see and hear ! show them the difference, the comparison

Speaking for the Older generation,, Before The Exposure to the Internet ! before the 90s

Education -was limited to the Class Room, Books Movie Reels and VHS ! Education TV channels
All Approved from the Education Board that is ! A, you will do as we tell you

Communication -was limited to Postage Mail and a Home/Business Phone Ham Radio or a Citizen Band Radio ! CB

Unless you were in Collage University before 1990 and had access to a Terminal (ARPANET) Pre Internet
or (Bulletin Board System ) = in what was the only way of getting Electronic info Email Messages Down loadable programs & literature and it had something like a Face Book and it had add ons like Firefox as I had one running at one time back in the mid 90s The Software i used Wildcat BBS

ARPANET
en.wikipedia.org...

Bulletin board system
en.wikipedia.org...

This can be done All done Now with a I phone (Cell phone ) with a price ..

Smart-phones: The New College Requirement
rccblog.com...

The Children today in America can get all the information they need just about any given time ! unless They are in a tower-less 3rd world country

True as The American Leaders are Amazed (delusional ) from seeing a Grocery Scanner ! that shows the product and price on a LED screen ! (Bush SR ) and the use a Coffee Cuppachino Maker (Hilary Clinton)

Bush v. Grocery Scanner
iconicphotos.wordpress.com...

and this 11 year Old Kid ! would know how to take those machines apart and put them back together let alone Operate them ... all from the Exposure of the Internet!

I Envy the New generation.. as i said before 250,000 years modern man has been on the planet and just in only a little over 100 years (recently ) Humans have just started to use their potential ability's

It seemed scripted but at least he's speaking the truth!

you think

he had a video that went along with what he said, of course it was scripted. I give him props for memorizing that speech so well and it sounds like he really knows what he is talking about, he's pretty enthusiastic

if it was was scripted by him is a complete new question though

edit on 13-3-2011 by GummB because: (no reason given)

Its not that he's more intelligent, he's just not tied up in the BS and lobbying.

I might have missed it but I didn't hear him say anything about monsanto. He called out gmo's in general. but not monsanto specifically, which would have been way cooler. And while yes, it was scripted and therefore makes me doubt his sincerity, the point is still the same.

I thought the same; however, the way Monsanto has an almost entire monopoly on GM food, it could still be interpreted as aimed at Monsanto by default. That in itself is a reminder of concern, imo. Good vid nontheless.

What an amazing child! Home schooled and he is more intelligent and concerned than most other kids. Kudos!
What a wonderful presentation!!!!

That must be why home schooling is practically illegal

Major props for this kid.

Maybe I missed it.. Where did exposing Monsanto come in in his speech? And what exactly did he expose that we didnt already know about?

Sorry, but IMHO this kid is regurgitating memorized speech, he has no CLUE what he is ACTUALLY talking about, you can see and hear it by the way he rambles his speech out as fast as he can, fumbles on certain sentence structures, gets annoyed when the audience laughs as he cannot continue quick enough with his speech in fears that he may forget what he needs to say next and finally by the way he continuously gesticulates with his hands while talking (NLP Subconscious body movement linked to memorizing speech paragraphs).
Good on ya kid for having the guts to at least go up and give it your best, but try and actually understand and comprehend what you are talking about....
You will most probably find there is a "Green" organization behind this kids family paying some mega money to his family to put him up as a front for this speech to push for green, because, as you know, everyone trusts a kid, they don't lie, their hearts are pure!
Hopefully this kid see's some of this money that is using him as a front so he can afford to buy his "not-so-green" Xbox 360 with latest game while eating his Big Mac burger from Mc-Donald's....

The video is good. The kid has presence, could be a good leader. I hope he continues to stand for these ideals as he grows older.

Wow! Bravest kid I've ever seen. He's more educated than half the world's population. "I used to wanna be a football player, now I wanna be an organic farmer". Absolutely amazing. This kid is my hero.

Good for you that you want to farm. Since retirement I've been doing just that and I do not use any sprays so I guess I'm doing the organic thing. Man you gotta know that without the spray stuff you are going to have clouds of gnats and other crawlies all over your garden in the summer. Make sure you get some (like about a million) lady bugs (hungry ones) for the garden otherwise you may be tempted to run to the store for a can of Black Flag. And after you harvest let the chickens have the run of the plot to clean up larve and other muchies.

You cant beat human nature and the human brain. While we as a generation have been hoodwinked into all this poisonous synthetic crap, the next generation already develops means to get out of it. Is'nt it beautyfull?!

The video should be saved somewhere ... so it won't be lost ... and i would flag this 100 times ..

Anyway, why do you automaticaly assume that it was scripted? Ofcourse it is,because he probably wrote that speech and memorized it but on the other hand he could just be an intelligent kid speaking his mind.

Funny how most of you get all mushy over a little wise ass bratt, obviously enjoying the attention.
If that was my kid I'd kick his ass back on the street to play with his friends.

This is child abuse. There are enough educated people saying the exact same thing, and they then make us shrug,

Neh... this gives me a bad aftertaste. Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

While the presentation didn't mention Monsanto specifically, does he really need to? I thought Monsanto held all the patents and all the rights to GMO. I mean who else would he be talking about?

My question is where was the ahem First Lady? You know " GMO Carrot sticks for you and a big plate of cheezy fries for me" Michelle?

GM watch linkEXTRACT:
The Obama family has wisely opted out of exposing themselves to GM foods by requiring organic--and therefore non-GMO--foods served at the White House. They are even planting an organic garden on the south lawn of the White House, to feature 55 types of vegetables.

The Bush family also had an organic kitchen policy. Laura Bush was "adamant" about it, but kept it all quiet.
* That's why every time she talks about "healthy eating" I ga and throw up a little. Please!

Great analysis from RawPeople

I really have to wonder about some of your comments on here... "scripted", "puppet", etc.. Shouldn't you ALL be applauding a child who is talking about something important and worthy and no drooling over celebrities while munching on a happy meal? Come on people! You are acting way less mature than the 11 year old. Good for him for giving a speech and getting attention. I think it's important that the people, as he said, who these ads are geared towards are waking up and making a stand. I don't know about all you on here who consider improvisation the only form of legitimate communication but when I was 11 years old and talking in front of a class, you can bet it was always researched and rehearsed. As it is with many adults too. What the heck is even wrong with that? All the better that someone is doing there research and practicing to deliver their message the best way possible!
Even if he is speaking for an organization, he is obviously learning by participating in something, and frankly anyone should be applauded for fighting the good fight, young or old. Great video! Unfortunate to see the number of negative, sarcastic comments.
