galactic activation portal

I was just checking out my tzolkin calender, and noticed that yesterday(11 March) was a "galactic activation portal" Just wondering if anyone can tell me more about galactic activation portals and what significance they have?
I have been following this calender for a while and noticed that for me on a personal level, significant events occur on these days. Yesterday, as if we could forget, we have massive destruction in Japan, a truly signifcant eventfor numerous people. Any connection, any significance? Wouldn't want to jump to conclusions but I find it interesting.
