You just seem to have this nebulous "idea" you are furiously defending. Problem is, there is no real depth to your argument. It doesn't gel together as true issue of conformity. At all.

No, my avatar wasn't included in the video. In fact, it was the video that inspired me to come up with an avatar. Besides, he didn't use anybody names at all. It was a collection of images which in part represents some people here but more importantly have been the topic of discussions here at some point in time. That's what you don't seem to be getting. It's not about conformity at all. It's about diversity. Do you not understand that term? It's a very good representation of what kinds of topics someone could find on ATS. He's not promoting any specific cause or anything like that. He's promoting ATS, which means he's promoting the denial of ignorance while you seem to be embracing it.

Edit: There were no decisions made on anybody's behalf. If an image is available on the internet, it's fair game for the most part.

If you put anything on the internet, it belongs to everyone. Wether it be picture, file, or whatever. I am not sure how people don't get that concept lmao.

Oh for gods sake, for the umpteenth time, I dont have an avatar... I'm not interested in being admitted to slayers, We Are ATS group love in, I'm questioning why someone would make a video like this knowing that it would either create responses ranging from the , "hey I'm in there, I'm respected, to the hey dude, you forgot me, dont I matter, kind of thing. Which ever catagory you fall in by replying in such a way you've just flushed your self respect and pride down the pan into the sewer. We are all individuals. We all have are own points of view. I think your sarcasm detector is broken, you may want to get it looked at. It was pretty obvious on almost every reply about not having an avatar in there was made by somebody who understood and accepted the video as what it is, something to show the diversity here. Just because you can't understand that doesn't make you right. I'll say it once again, this isn't Slayer's way of saying "these are the only people who matter." He's just not the kind of person to do that, and you'd know that if you cared to do more than make pointless and baseless complaints.

Edit: Who would have to give permission to be included in the video? There weren't really names given in association to the images. Pretty much every image there is present elsewhere on the internet too, plus they relate to topics that have been discusses on ATS. Get that through your head instead of just ignoring it every time it's said.

Are you thick? I do not put ANYTHING on the internet that I don't want. If it is put on the internet, it belongs to EVERYONE. That is how I roll, if I did not want my artwork used in any way, I would not post it on the internet. Sure he didn't ask me personally if I would mind if he posted it, put putting it on the internet implies consent. Even on sites that try their best to block downloading, can be overridden with knowledge...

Apparently you don't understand what diversity means. The huge variety of images that are used as avatars here reflects the huge variety of people that participate in discussions on ATS and reflects the huge variety of topics discussed here. Apparently you don't understand that and refuse to even consider that your irrational view may not be correct.

Edit: You may say you don't want to be labeled as "ATS". I hate to tell you this (not really) but by participating here, you are by definition "ATS" because it makes you a part of the community. That doesn't mean you have to conform, and in fact participating on ATS is the complete opposite of conforming.

So youve put your avatar and name on the internet and it belongs to everyone, including me, so I've just included you in the I Love Gaddaffi fan club, and the Gsry Glitter fan club. After all, by your own admission, you put yourself on the internet and you belong to everyone. If thats how you roll you wont roll for long!

I think you should look up the meaning of diversity because your explanation of it is borderline insane. Diversity means a lot more than an avatar and how it may, or may not, connect with its owner.

The problem with that argument is that that person has never, to my knowledge, participated in either of those communities. True, the images are available for use by anybody. The names too, as they are not our real names.
