PLEASE PEOPLE!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO POST UPDATES - POST NEWS LINKS!

The information coming from Japan in their time of crisis is confusing - especially concerning the 5 nuclear plants.

We've heard all 5 nuclear plants were shut down.

There's been reports of problems with:

Onagawa Nuclear Power Plant

And

Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant

It was reported, though all plants are 'shut down', Fukushima’s diesel generators had failed resulting in the inability to cool its core.

We need FACTS not FEAR MONGERING at this critical point!

From the beginning of time whole nations have recovered from earthquakes...Nuclear melt down is a far different story...

So keep it FACTUAL and NO SENSATIONALISTIC BS!

The situation is bad enough as it is...

peace

There's no leak. A state of nuclear emergency was declared after the cooling system failed at one of their reactors.

It has yet to be fixed.

Island of Hawaii had 4.5 quake a little while ago. I heard on CNN this morning that there is an issue with cooling down one of the nuclear reactors in Japan.

New here, but from what I've seen on tons of news sites Japan is stating that there is no risk to any of the Nuclear plants.

So why is everyone here saying that there is a leak?

wwitv.com...

Watch this! He was just talking about that the core is cooling but it needs water to continue to cool down or it could runaway almost exactly like Chernobyl.

Nobody is saying there's a leak, just that there's been problems.

Completely uncalled for, and unnecessary.
You should be ashamed of yourself. There is nothing even slightly humorous here..

People are listening to the wrong sources, and whilst some power plants are damaged and perhaps on fire ( see my post within the last couple of pages - with images ) i just posted a press conference with the Japanese PM, saying just that. There is no nuclear leaks so far;

So yes you are correct so far but it is only early and things may change.,.. i emphasise the MAY in that sentence

Oh man, if Yellowstone goes.... We are all gonna feel the effects... worldwide!!!

What's that saying? S$$T just got real? They are not reporting all the tremors we feel up here either. They are covering this up. It might show up on the map and then they take it down. I'm not a fear mongerer either, just telling the truth.

After seeing this with Japan I just think the U.S. is in for something soon, perhaps CA.

No one has said there is a leak! A runaway reactor is worse than a leak by far! The local Japanese News is implying the rods are partially inserted which is helping cool it but they said they need water to further cool it!
