The waves of aftershocks were expected, just as they were last year when Haiti and Chile were devastated. As I recall, Haiti had approximately 100
aftershocks in 48 hours. I compiled the Haiti aftershock list by searching for earthquakes between January 12th 2010 and January 15th 2010

The amount of aftershock thus far is in fact normal. I hope the information I gathered is enough to convince you, otherwise I suggest you start
researching instead of pulling your hair out in panic. I admit I also sense the worse is yet to come but it is not because of the aftershocks.
