7.9 Japan!!....scratch that 8.8 and several others.!!!

8.8 Confirmed

At least so far...there has been two 6.4 quakes after the 8.8.

Not good. :'(

Ya... thats strange... tv was saying 7.9 but then had a post at the bottom that said 8.8.
Just checked USGS and it says 8.8 + 2 other 6.4's.

Another strange coincidence.... I just finished watching a program and was scrolling the channels... I never stop on this one channel but decided to and saw the breaking news. At the same time my wife said she did the exact same thing in a different room and she never even stops on the news channels. That seemed to be quite a coincidence.

Anyways, best of luck to the people in Japan right now and hopefully Hawaii doesn't get hit hard.

I wonder . . . solar flare hits Earth, shortly thereafter, we get this . . . related??? Now we have an X-class that will hit very soon. Add that to the aftershocks and what do we get? Just guessing here . . .

6.4 at 6:07 UTC
6.8 at 6:15 UTC
7.1 at 6:25 UTC

.... what happend to the 7.9 and 8.8 reports?

Just hit 8.9...

and yep...6.8 and 7.1 concurrently. Ouch! And just off the coast too. Must be a VERY stong wave of Tsunami's headed in. Again...not good...not good at all.

As my original post said...i had a feeling to go to usgs, I rarely do. Then I had a funny idea to refresh and she if there was a new quake....and it was there...lol...totally freaked me....I saw it within a seconds of its actually showing on usgs....

Strange the quake was occuring when i had the intution to see if there was a quake occuring....now to get my timing increased...lmao...JK
