I used a wacom drawing tablet - not an ipad or android tablet...

I did this tree this morning - from scratch...

that's really colorful!

well i am talking about wacom tablet. i can't read the stuff on it, so i don't know what to push and what not to. i need glasses (20-20 vision went kaput after chemotherapy) but am too cheap to buy them, so it's really my fault.

I would love to be artistically talented. But alas, I couldn't draw flies if I was covered in feces.

But God made up for it by giving me a talent for machinery; both operating and troubleshooting & repair. I made a good living at it and ran my own industrial engineering and repair service in the Chicago Metro market for 25 years before moving to Georgia to take a job with one of my customers.

My favorite of all your works is Tiger Moon. I am going to go to your website to see if I can afford to buy a copy. Your work is amazing. Thank you for sharing it.

MB,

I did this in photoshop cs5 extended. I used my wacom intuos4 small tablet to draw then paint it. I used a photo as reference. Same way for all three photos. It is 100% painted. I also paint with canvas and acrylics, but as i'm kind of in between state all my brushes and paints are packed right now.

I worked as a graphic artist for a few years. I got that job with my portfolio, as I am self taught on computer design. I have a music education degree but I took a lot of art classes since I was little. I volunteered and built up a portfolio doing work for non profit agencies. I went in as a temp for a big project and I was the only temp they kept and put on permanent. I'm a better musician than artists... the tiger is probably the best painting I've ever done in my mind.

Thanks everyone for the complements and encouragement

You are really good, thank you for sharing!

Not sure anyone will see this thread anymore, but I bought myself a Gaomon tablet (which is a monitor you can draw on) for Christmas and have been making some new artwork.

I'm using Corel Painter 2019 now. Here is my newest and a youtube video I made painting it. I used OBS to screen capture the two hour painting session, then iMovie to put title and upload it to youtube.
