Telekinesis, OOBEs, controlled dreaming, and the pendulum

I have had several experiences that suggest I have paranormal "gifts," or whatever. For example, (this is from my journal a while back) "Ugh. I swear, after Religion class yesterday, I had a HUGE headache. That was right after we talked about telekinesis, and I was really happy... There was a pen in front of me. I swear it shuttered. It wouldn't be the first time it's happened, either."

Sometimes, when I'm feeling anger or another strong emotion, something right beside what I'm staring at (or what I'm staring at) will shudder. Like yesterday, around 6:00 pm. I was pretty upset because my parents were downstairs yelling at each other, and my dad had already broken the window of his truck. I started praying, and staring at my lamp. It's an artist's lamp, and clips onto my desk so I can move it around. It started shaking, like someone had grabbed it and wiggled it around. My little sister was standing near the desk (not the lamp) and I asked her if she had seen it shaking (I can never tell if I'm making stuff happening, because as soon as I focuse my eyes and stop relaxing, the thing stops moving) and she said yes, she had. I asked her why it had moved and she looked kind of freaked, like she knew I had done it. "I-I guess I bumped the desk," she shrugged. But she said it slowly, like she wasn't sure.

My question is, if I do have control over these things, how do I harness it? I've tried the thing where you pretend to hold a ball of energy in your hands and stuff like that, but none of it works. Is there a down-to-earth way I can develop this without using hokey spiritual stuff? I can't control this when I want to!

Also, is there a way to have OOBEs and contolled dreaming? I used to be able to when I was little (controlled dreaming) but now I can't, and I can only float above my body in OOBEs, not move around.

ALSO... I can do the pendulum, it's neat, I go into a trance thing, but WHAT is answering the questions? Is it a spirit? Or are the answers inside me?
