not to bash you, but your suggestion that the OP go out and ingest a psychoactive substance is a little distasteful. you may have your way of understanding the universe, but that is not to say that someone else's methodology is invalid. i hold merit in spiritual experience achieved through the use (not mis-use) of psychoactive substances, however the use of such methods for one could be damaging to their own development spiritually. they may misunderstand what they experience. much like a lawyer giving someone medical advice, it just isn't the way things work.

Well now you have told me the way things work....I will be sure to follow your personally guidelines of how and witch way to obtain ones spiritual perspective. Because your way must be more valid than mine.

I can tell know nothing about dmt form your reply. Monks do it, the natives do it,Egyptians where thought to have done it. The chemical is found all around us in grass, plants animals. Oh and its the only psychedelic found naturally in the human body and is thought to be release into the penile gland at birth and in nde's. It is all natural 100% physically safe to take. The fact that it is on our planet so widely available in most of nature(arguably put here by god) kind of suggests were were mean to find it.

You don't know what's best for an individuals spiritual growth any more than I do. The thing is I just put it out there for the individual to research. You trying to censor an person because you don't believe its the right way, is well very close minded. Like a child not being told by his father there is a sports day even coming up...just because schools, school for studding not playing games, that's not the correct way to do school (see I can simplify too). Basically until you know what really happens when you take dmt, you shouldn't have a big opinion on it.

Please save us from another religious diatribe. The first paragraph was perfectly legitimate. You shouldn't ignore the power of your own conscience as well as that of a collective conscience. We need only to look to ourselves and our neighbors in order to create the universe we live in. The notion of God is really you. There is no need to read a book concocted for purposes of enslaving humankind. Zealots are prisoners of fear. They need rules written down because they are afraid to follow their heart. If something big, which is either good or bad, is about to happen it is because it has been willed. By you and me. If we are at a time in history when everything seems to be going wrong, it is because we are freaking out by fear. Knowing that all the responsibility is ours. Stop wanting some divine intervention to make everything alright. I suggest merely to follow the golden rule and spread that word.

you obviously missed my point. i know what you are saying about dmt and i know what it is. i didn't insult your intelligence but you deemed it appropriate to insult mine? if you would have read and understood what i was trying to say to you in my post then you would have realised i agree with you BUT i disagree with your unwarranted recommendation of someone to use a drug that could (if they didn't find out for themselvevs) drive them to a state in which they could not only hurt themselves physically but also spiritually. i said nothing one way or the other as to what you should do with your life nor what the OP should do with theirs, i merely aired a word of caution. i don't think you understand much beyond your use of the drug which leads me to believe you don't really understand much at all (and if english is not your second language you should be ashamed of yourself).

Are you kidding me "and if english is not your second language you should be ashamed of yourself" do you even know when to use a capital letter...at the beginning of a sentence. You didn't do it once. One of your sentences had about 70 words before you used a full stop. English should be a capital E and i alone in a sentence is always capital (I). And "themselvevs" you have a spell check you know. Not to mention you words are all jumbled together, have you ever heard of a paragraph. I didn't claim to have the best grammar, but you certainly need to keep your mouth shut when it comes to the English language.

In my last post I gave you enough information about '___' in one paragraph and you say "i don't think you understand much beyond your use of the drug" you are making yourself sound stupid not me. I know enough that I have made my own '___' many times and have web pages teaching people who to do the same. And you are saying I don't know anything beyond this....how can you even come to that conclusion, that's like saying you know lots about science so you must be dumb.

It's funny how people perceive things, basically it's like a child, lets say he never saw an elephant in a picture real life or anywhere else. For him that animal wouldn't exists, you cannot prove to him that it exists without showing him the image or describing how it looks like. Same for the concept of god, people decide not to believe in god because you cannot prove to them, for most people this is reality and they wish to stay here because they are limited in knowledge. With the improvement of science and rules of physics they are able to explain many things of the earth and around them, yet the rest of it they have now solved it with quantum physics which is basically like magic. Many fear death and say we only have one life, I think this is kind of stupid because before birth we didn't exist and suddenly we was given life and now we don't want to repay our debt. Only a handful can think out of the box no offence to you other people just live your life.

These debunkers, atheist, what have you become so tiring and boring. You all keep saying the same thing that the bible is not the Word of God, and that the earth has always been this way or that. Religion is the reason for all our trouble or all the trouble in the world.
People, people when will you get of the blame game kick. Religion is man made, Christianity is what Jesus Christ is, not man made. Religion, all religion is seriously flawed, Christianity is not, Christianity is the teachings of Jesus Christ. If any of you doubters, or unbelievers would actually stop trying be so arrogant in your thought, so critical in judging, trying to think with minds that are limited to only the physical life, maybe than you might be able to understand a part of the mind of God.
You say that God can't be proven, no Christian needs to prove anything to you, we already know in our hearts the truth that God exist and that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. The danger is to yourselves and that all of you don't believe, it is your own souls that you put at risk. We come to you and share the Word of the only true living God, and if you reject Him and His Word, it is your folly.
Christians have an obligation to share the word of God and some are called out to preach and teach. Christ instructed His disciples to go and spread the good Word. It is a command from Him, and the promise to all those that have faith and follow the Lord is heavenly.

You unbelievers love to use the excuse that God wants to control everyone, a God that wants to dictate to you how to live, basically an oppressor. What you all fail to realize is that your all living under that kind of rule already. Just look at your own lives today real hard and ask yourselves, are you truly free? Are you really in control of your own lives? I always like to say, "slavery was never abolished, all they did was replaced the whip with the dollar."

Everyone should just stop, look at themselves in the mirror and start being honest with them self.
We live in times like no other, and if your too blind or stubborn or afraid to see, than God help you.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. There should be no fear of hell or behavior modification on our parts as human beings. Jesus has done all the work for us.

Well, if no one is going to go to hell there isn't anything to worry about then. And there certainly is no point in trying to convert anyone to Christianity if we are not being threatened with torture any more.

You may have misunderstood me friend. Many are going to Hell. My point is that becoming a Christian requires no modification of behavior on our parts. There is no 'mental gun at your head' as you put it. This is because when one believes in Jesus as the Son of God He lives inside you and -HE- changes you, forever. We no longer have to try to be good, Gods law is written on our hearts. There is no going to hell for those who are in Christ, that is why it is called being "saved". Jesus saved us.

Now as for using hell as a tactic to convert people, that is rather rudimentary. God doesn't want us to believe in Jesus out of fear, but out of love.

I tried praying to santa claus once, nothing happened. Well i got presents on christmas.

But guess what? I prayed to God once and something significant happened. Enough so that I continued praying. And everyday that I spend in His word is like talking to someone who is real and responds back, but in different ways. Would I keep praying till this day if I never got results? No that would be crazy. I have witnessed God do amazing things in mine and others lives. God is waiting for you to take that leap of faith. Oh friend please take me up on this offer, I beg of you.

What is the most boring is how the religion shapes your entire outlook on everything, and yet it has as many holes in it as 9/11.

I have not met a Christian who will talk much about that though, it kind of breaks the idea that every other religion is commanded by Satan to attack .

Religion doesn't shape my entire outlook on everything as you put it. But if making a comment such as this is what makes you happy, than good for you. One of the things I've noticed about you people is, you always make very short comments that carry no gravity in anything your saying. It is so empty, fruitless, and so predictable. You stand on nothing and therefore you have no foundation on anything you say, all your thoughts, ideas, beliefs and words are built upon sand, and that I'm sure you may have a bit of an inkling in your mind is very weak and unstable ground.

Go looking for real truth, the stuff that is not ever talked about by christians, and you will see, i have heard it ALL, been in tons of churches...with careful research you will realize just how silly your beliefs are, however you cannot since that destroys what you think is "faith".

You will never find the truth while waiting for "something big to happen", which is what the church has been preaching for years.

You will never find it in those books, noone has yet, and noone ever will.

So since you are a scholar and have been through as you put it, "tons of churches" why don't you explain what faith is instead of just blowing a lot of hot air and saying nothing.
You people that come out so high and mighty and say nothing of real value. All your good at is condemning others and wasting time and space. They are just loud and given a megaphone by the ideology and political and social activism of Marxism. In turn liberals have the megaphone of our Universities and corporate media at the moment, so it gives the impression that "everyone" rejects God as they proclaim.
