Squatters take over Colonel Gaddafi's son's £11m London mansion

Squatters occupied the £11 million London home of Colonel Gaddafi's son today in protest against the dictator's regime.

A group calling themselves Topple The Tyrants said they took over the house because they "didn't trust the British government to properly seize Gaddafi's corrupt assets".

The squatters unfurled a banner bearing a picture of Colonel Gaddafi and the slogan "Out Of Libya Out Of London" from the top of the house.

You gotta be a real tight, brain dead, red taped bureaucratic moron to move these guys on.

Reminds me of the squatters that were three months away from claiming an 11 mil pound ambassy building many years ago..only for the owners to turf them out..

I sure hope this lot get to keep the 'loot' this time..

Although I agree that the "spoils" that dictators have taken from their countries citizens should be properly returned to the citizens of their countries. I fail to understand how this group of political activists deserve any piece of the "booty".

If squatters are honestly trying to ensure that the wealth be rightfully returned to the citizens of Libya, then I agree with their motivations. However, I do not see how the squatters deserve any part of the Gaddafi family (rightfully that of the Libyan people) fortune.

wont be funny when a van full of Serbians turn up and massacre the lot of them. although i think the Gaddafi's have a bit more on there plate than this. this whole Libya thing is very confusing and i don't have a clue what to believe as everyman and his dog are spinning this. i do think Gaddafi's can stay in power even if our news is telling us he cant it might just be a smaller Libya that's all. i do see air strikes and a no fly zone very soon. it would be very niaev to think were not wrekying the whole country with all the SF we have in the country.

This is one time I'm in favor of the squatters actions.

£11 Mn mansion sounds quite roomy.....roomy enough for quite a few squatters.
