A quick Google for the word 'Desigual' shows it is a fashion label. I'm assuming it must be some form of advertisement for them, particularly given the second screenshot we got of the guy in the sweater.

Be weary, BMW has done that exact thing in a test they did at a German movie theater. 'BMW' flashed behind the screen and then when the video goers closed their eyes (as was instructed to them by the commercial) they could see the words forming, such as when you look at the sun you have a circle burned into your view for a few seconds.

As for the OP, it could have simply been a cut off commercial, meaning it was meant to be on the screen for much longer but due to commercial programming that commercial didn't show. I've had plenty of those instances here where one commercial ends and only a split second of another commercial shows up.

What I noticed is grey is spelt the English way so it's something British.

You people need to lighten up, No-one or no thing has hijacked your television sets, someone sitting in the 'Comedy Channel' offices (In UK) has pieced this together on a computer & edited in to the schedules. They started doing it when they were moving channels. if you ever watch Derren brown & his mind control stuff you will understand that you are falling for this trick if you really do think someone from somewhere is sending you messages through the T.V. Never thought we were being sent secret messages through the television, would just be quite interesting to know what they were for whether that be for advertising or for a laugh by someone

The red has a pretty simple purpose; it breaks up the monochrome.

See, if the message had been just black and white, a half-second blip of it would have looked like a tape error, static or a malfunction down at the station. It would have just been bars of black and white.

Throw in some color, and it busts up the monochrome. The eye catches it, and the viewer wonders what just happened - and since so many TV's today allow you to rewind and play back, that's what the people who put it out are counting on you to do.

Why red? Because red breaks up white and black the best out of the primary colors. Ir provides the best contrast. Why not all red? Because again the eye would see it as blobs or stripes - an error, rather than anything worth having a look at.

Regardless of if this specific "glitch" or half second ad was meant to be a subliminal or not, I have good reason to believe that MANY subliminal messages are presented to individuals who choose to watch the tele. I opted out many years ago, so no worries here. It does, however, worry me that so many still watch the trash.

I did read a while ago that advertisers had caught on to the fact that most of their adverts were getting missed as alot of people have sky+ now and everyone just fast forwards past the adverts. They said they had come up with a way of somehow showing products in the seconds we see them go by and making us take notice, maybe you are right with the red text.


for the record, I am more interested in different aspects of the media than I am in thinking I am recieving secret messages or having my tv taken over!

Ive seen the code cracked, none of you will ever do it its E.T level code.
Ile leave out the details as its not meant for public eyes,basicly the first message relates to the fact that the milky ways E.T's are going to war at last with the enemy.

The second message states that other aliens are coming to help the enemy.

It appears as if the enemy is coding through televisions as ive heard the milky way aliens listen to everything...they can hear a pindrop amidst a roar but they cant see up close,only rough features of say a face.
Theres secret code everywhere,ive seen it....its them communicating.

maybe this guy ( mr.jackers) got it from somewhere else and posted it on there otherwise what would channel 4 be doing posting his message up on the T.V.

Possible he saw the text first on tv then decided to put it onto his website. If people then searched for the text like you just did then he would get alot of hits to his site or create an air of mystery around himself making people think he is involved somehow. Isn't it all about getting the greatest number of hits on a site?

I'd suggest an elimination diet.

Perhaps you are experiencing psychosis as a result of cerebral allergies brought on by your choice in diet.

It really could be a number of things, but sticking to a single food for a week and seeing if that helps really is a safe, and cheap way to test out the theory.
