One dies in Copt-Muslim clash in Cairo

Reports say the victim was a Coptic Christian. Fifteen people were injured.

The violence began during a protest by Copts against last week's burning of a church. Witnesses say the army fired into the air to disperse the crowds.

The clashes come two months after a suicide bomber killed 23 people at a Coptic church in Alexandria.

In January, an Egyptian man was sentenced to death for shooting dead six Copts and a Muslim policeman in Naga Hamady, southern Egypt.

This is still happening right now, no one knows why christians are being targeted, it could merely be because of rising tensions coupled with lawlessness and no authority present to stop the violence. Or something else. Egyptian army is having problems reaching the areas where christians are attacked and under siege as thugs burn churches systematically. But its not clear why the police haven't come back to the streets and whether State Security is behind all that violence. There could be someone benefiting from creating chaos and this could either be revenge or part of a sinister plan. Maybe its radical islamists who want a different Egypt? As also women were being harassed. Too many rumors and not enough truths to anything and the only thing Egyptians now want is to quickly destroy State Security to stop the madness. Also the thugs attacking were heard shouting insults at egypt's revolution, which I find really odd, who's orders are they following? If thats the case that is. As of righting, eye witness reports on tv are that 9 died.
