you are your own god

These are the most profitable thoughts mankind can have. Awakening to the awareness of godhood and the consequence of our actions will always cause this to occur:

People will immediately attack you - drag you down, debate with you. Anything to prevent you from taking your mind up. Beware these people: They are only trying to prevent you.

What you have discovered by your innocent thought is something that has been well known and well concealed for a long time. The mind of man CAN be the MIND of GOD. This is something that we can attain simply by wanting it, by becoming aware of it. It doesn't happen to evil people - they go to a different sort of god.

To those of us who have made the thought - I am like god! These are my favorite people. That is because the thought came to you like a seed, and I know the sower.

And look at you! When you realized that you were like god, you didn't think to do evil, or to make men suffer, or to rule over others! You knew that such a thought was to reveal the truth to you, and to increase your mind.

That is what needs to be told to you. Other people who want to argue with you are those who have yet to discover their own divinity. To such people, it is impossible to perfect yourself, and people are to not think of greatness at all. They feel out of place taking their own authorty, unless it be to put you down for taking yours.

I want to make one point completely clear to you. There is no such thing as equality of good and evil. They are not part of the same whole. Evil is corruption of the product of good. Evil requires good to continue living, producing, because evil is parasitic and vampiric, chaotic and violent. Good does not require evil. Evil is not a productive and living force. It is the nuclear waste of consciousness. It is what happens to living human beings choose the darkness, and do not unite their minds with god. We don't need it, we tolerate it, we suffer it, all to maintain the garden of intelligence that produces great gems from time to time.

It is great folly to say that evil and good are required for this or that. It is foolish. You do not say, I have a plate of fine curryied rice. Here, let me put mud and piss and stones into it. Now, it is both good and evil. Will you eat it? Do you think God is going to eat such a dish? Do not be so foolish as these persons.

There is a reason why certain people will act like this, you will learn it by and by. Some folks really don't want human beings realizing their full potential, and doing so without any shame.

Yet whenever a human being makes this thought, Heaven opens to them, and the others who have ascended offer them love, and freinship, and nation, so that they know there is aplace for them to go to after this journey.

Shame on those people who have rejected this freedom and have chosen slavery for themselves and misery for others. That is what evil comes from - the willful detachment and rebellion against the divinity of man.

Jesus was the first really divine man we know of. The thoughts he put into the universe are where you got this idea from - that is the little seed that you have received. It will grow as you like it to, as you feed yourself the thoughts of god, you will grow in divintiy, just as those who eat filthy food fall into disgrace.

You may forgive your own sins, since your will is good, and your heart is good, and you have not deceieved anyone with your knowledge.

That is the key to developing from this point on - as you discover secret knowledge, you will be tempted to keep in secret, thoughts will form in your head tempting you to think that you will gain secret honors and powers by concealing your divinity and the things you learn. Do the oposite of this. Teach others these things. They will probably not understand it most of the time, but the first time you put light into another person because you tell them a truthful thing, you will understand this.

Those willing to attain full godliness are those who consider all matters before them, and able to judge, and do not ignore the mandate set forth by our elders who have attain godhood before us, and have established our nation - evil is to be driven out and destroyed wherever it is found.

Part of the awareness of godliness that you will aqcuire in this path will cause you to be aware of all the forces and spirits that now occupy the earth with us, before these were hidden from you, and now they shall be manifest.

I encourage you to read the gnostic books, they will educate you in the forms of godly thought and how godly people relate to one another, and show you that there have been MANY people seeking godliness, and MANY found it. Most do not discover it, but if you look for it you will be guided.

Pursuing divinity for motal men is like a battle. Your neighbors will sense this in you, and some will love you, others will hate you without any sense or mercy. Your eyes will open.

Yes, you really found something, and it really is there. We really do live in a world where these facts are concealed and covered over by others. Yes, other people really don't want human beings to ascend into liberty and divinity, and shrug off all their controls and laws. Maybe they are afraid of punishment for their devilry and deception. When we were weak children, how terrible they were! How fearsome they made themselves to us, so we might not learn the truth. Let everty children be fed the truth, despite the wicked intention of the corrupted, let every child learn these things.

They fear the loss of their system, which allows the continuance of the animals, and the beastly persons, and the filthy. It makes them rich, it gives them luxury. Every divine person who looks upon it will curse it, and will for its destruction, because of how evil it is.

That is what got Jesus into so much trouble, because he could not restrain himself for his sense of judgment and righteousness. Study Jesus more, you will find a good example in him. The churches don't teach the truth of Him, they only want you to be obdendient to power. Jesus is not who they serve.

Real Liberty requires no church, no law, no obedience to any earthly authority. This is why real christianity is a threat to non-divine persons who rely upon constructions and systems to live - It destroys what keeps them in power.

And of course, what keeps them in power is lie and force and deception, and they work by concealment. They want to control your mind for you, not let you control your own in freedom. Even if you want them to be free and well like yourself, they will never let it be.

You will see what I mean, as the pursuit of divinity causes you to part ways with your former friends, your people, and your sense of nation. You will see how they are false and not for you to join. A perfect person in this place is found alone, he is without the noise and bother that follows around these other folks.

Grow and get wise, make your mind strong, because you have chosen the path of hard struggle, and wise learnings.

An interesting group of posts.

Several streams of thought in Hinduism and Buddhism teach that the self is an illusion. that the individual may have one body, but has multiples "selves." My limited grasp of the idea is that reincarnation is when another group of selves get bundled into another body. A different complex of memories means that the sensation is of a new and unique "self" which is actually the conglomeration of a whole slew of other, older awarenesses.

I guess that I would agree with this argument, at least in part, because I don't believe that the human self is divine.

I'm not sure, but I think maybe some of you think I'm attacking you; this was not my intention. I don't claim to have a monopoly on the truth, or on right thought or action.

I think of truth as being that which is always valid and unchanging. I imagine the Deity as affecting history without being affected in itself. The medieval appellation was "the unmoved mover," (which I think is quite poetic, in a way.)

So if we say that different people have different truths, I guess my response is that real truth is valid independant of perception. I know that a lot of people don't believe in a reality beyond our own perceptions. I personally have been convinced of supersensory, or transcendental truth.

Is the idea that you can be your own god a way of talking about a soul? Being a god doesn't mean that you're omnipotent, or omniscient, or else one or more of you would have already responded to my summons . . .

Personally, I'm a Christian of the Neoplatonist school. I don't expect to disabuse any of you of your belief-systems, and I know you'll want to show me the same respect in return.

I guess what I'm asking is, what does the statement 'be your own god' mean for you? how does it empower you or change your outlook, if you subscribe to it?

I think that the key to divinity is by allowing yourself to be divine. Think dvine thoughts, and you move your being into the realm of divinity. Think like a god, and move into the realm of gods. That is what free will is like in this case.

There is no barrier between humans and divninty. If you want it, you can get it. There are obstacles, some put there by wicked beings who are jealous of men.

Many Americans think it strange that a man able to reach divintiy, or perfection. Actually, it is the Americans who are strange, because it is only today that such notions exist - in the past the pursuit of divintiy and perfection was the business of all good and learned men from all nations. It is a very bad misunderstanding of the universe and of human nature that keeps Americans thinking that divnity and perfection is unattainable.

What is more disturbing is that Americans will resist being corrected in this error, and will attack anyone who tries to tell them that regular men can attain divinity and ascend to perfection. They cast dirt upon people who try, and hold them back, such is their frustration.
The worst offenders of this are mainstream Christians. If any one of their people try to pursue divinity, and tell them that their goal is to be perfect in this life, their teachers and preists will tell them that it is impossible, and will send them in another direction. What direction? Who knows.

It's really not a mystery: If the heavenly beings like you, and you keep yourself loyal to them, then you are taken into heaven with them and enjoy the blessing of their eternal nation.

If you are a yucky person inside and you don't want to wash, then everyone from heaven is going to throw rocks at you, and unless you wash they are not going to take up up with them. After all, who wants to let a yucky person come to live with them forever in paradise? Do you think we want your envy and wrath among us? No way!

So yea, be your own God, but do so intelligently. Devils try to be their own "gods" too, but they are just devils doing mischief. If you really want to be god, then think like it, and act like Jesus. If you error, then you will error less terribly than those who do not, and correction might be easier.

It's okay to act as much like Jesus as you can. You won't offend anyone except people who do not act like Jesus. Do you really want to live forever with people who do not act like Jesus? What kind of misery are you into, man?

That is what is meant when it is said "To accept Jesus". To accept Jesus means to form your will after His wisdom, and to work after his manner. It's not hard kids. You just need to have a will to improve your people, teach the truth, and overthrow the liars and the thieves.

if you will those things to begin with, you will find jesus on the way, and if you are willing he will hang out with you and you will get spiritual friends who are loyal forever.

Do you still want to hang out on earth? Want to make some more money? How about some food? Maybe some soft porn and a beer? Still thinking like a man? Hee hee

Give up these things, they are silly. They were only good for a laugh, or a brief departure, none of them are going to remain. Try to rise above the stuff that gets burned.

It is certain, Jesus is a way of truth and light. I am filled with this certainty as a refreshing healing thought.

His will is my will, what is leftover is cast away. This is the process of refinement. He is the crucible of intelligence, I will be refined.

Nay, but my awareness is awakened, and I see clearly. A human form can bear a wonderful power. Our spirits can develop into great and wonderful intelligences. Oh you people, please wake up soon too.

I will leave the key for you, I will tell you the secrets. I will not leave you totally, but I will translate what was mysterious into your language. I will express what was revealed, and I will show you the way to the reward I have found. Any one of you are free to follow it.

To the subject at hand:

I have met many people who consider themselves to be their own god. But I never quite understood this reasoning. (IMHO) We did not create ourselves, we did not give ourselves consciousness, something else did. Some other power greater than us, the same one that controls all things and the very one that has granted us these short lives of ours. I think that we are (to a degree) the ones that can aim our destiny, but I think that whatever made us also has a high degree of influence over our lives.

It's called confidence. Is anything I said false or not correct? Or do you just have a problem with people speaking straight as an arrow?

Do I glorify myself and congradualte myself? No. Are you threatened by people who know what is real and true? Are the things I said not real or true?

My last post was written while I was in a good spirit. It is the lesson I was given. That is how we develop ourselves into perfection.

We need more people who are confident in their knowledge. You don't need to backpedel or qualify your words. I don't say "I think" because I am certain in my knowledge. I am not spinning wonderous tales, most of my words can be found in the traditions and teachings of wise men long ago.

In a post beginning with "Be your own personal god" I am curious when people get upset when you try to do so.

I'm not trying to be YOUR god, I am trying to be One with God. I don't care much about saving you. I don't want your worship. If you fall into a ditch, I will help you out, if you are broken, I will help fix you. Your religions don't mean anything to me. It's all in what YOU want to accomplish, what YOU want to bring forth on the earth. That's thinking like God. Or at least a start.

Can you rejoice like me? Can you tell me about the joy of ascending to God? Or are you one of those figures in the shadows, trying to stab at those on the journey?

I don't want to start a cult. What new thing can I possibly offer? Isn't everything well written already? What I promote is the use of the faculties of the human being to use the knowledge we already have and to improve the lot of our people. You can keep your stuff and your money. I do believe that some things you say are wrong/misleading, but I am not attacking you merely for that fact. I think that you are presenting everything you say as accepeted and universally true. There is a difference between confidence and considering yourself infallible, which you very much seem to think.
