I thought this was best served in Social issues.
Mods if it needs moving, please do so

Alright I wanna hear from the ladies here.
Is this therapeutic ??? Revenge ???
Advertising for the next guy ???
How many of you women have
done this sort of thing before ???

It seems a woman caught her guy cheating
and after 5 yrs of supporting him and him
living in her house. She kicked him out
and is selling his stuff on E-Bay.

Oh and btw, she bought the stuff
she's selling.

ladies, your thoughts???

this is a video so there's no quoted
article, sorry.

If she gave that stuff to him, it's his, and she's committing theft. If she never gave it to him, it's her stuff, and it's silly to sell off your own property because of some dude cheating on you.

The trick is, keep your lady happy so she doesn't do irrational crazy stuff like this

I shall keep my remarks to myself.

Second lines are hard to think of sometimes.

I think Judge Judy would agree with ya
on that. Now if he can prove that she
gave him that stuff, does he have a
case to sue her? Or can he have her
arrested for theft?

Well he cheated on her after she supported him. She doesn't want to have to look at his crap after what he did so she's just trying to recoup some of her financial losses. It makes some sense. She probably doesn't want to play CoD Modern Warfare, so instead of giving the cheater the game she's selling it. It makes a statement to him: You didn't know what you had until you threw it all away, but buddy it's not just me you're losing. Try finding another schmuck to work for you, you're not going to keep anything from me.

I support her fully, she'll feel better for it. It's a bit vindictive but well deserved.

vindictive??

isn't it more like criminal ???

If she gave him this stuff as a gift,
Then it is his property, is it not ???
And by her selling someone else's
property without their consent makes
it a crime.

Well, if she's saying it's his stuff, then that is technically giving it to him - reinforced by the fact that she's selling it off as revenge.

Silly move, however you cut it. Better to just put it all in the yard, then call the police to arrest him for trespassing when he tries to collect

Im sorry but why do girls go out with guys and 'support him for 5 years' and then get suprised when they find out he's no good. I know this is by no means the majority of girls but it seems so many go out with guys who treat them like sh1t for so long and then are shocked when they turn out to be a dirty dawwwwg!

I feel like there ought to be a caveat for "gifts" and gifts. You're supporting your partner for 5 years and you don't want him to look like a bum. I just watched the video (didn't before the first post), so I didn't realize this was predominantly about clothes although I did see a beer cozy in there. I feel like this isn't criminal though because while you're with someone you assume that eventually it wont just be you giving and him taking. I'm pretty sure Judge Judy would throw this out because she would counter sue for the living expenses she covered. Any financial gain from selling the gifts would go back to her, unless she was dumb and didn't put him on the lease. Then she'd be told to just learn a lesson from this and not date bums anymore.

Although from experience I will say that if the genders were swapped I would still support the one who footed the bill all along. I broke up with a boyfriend once, nothing like this, but I had accumulated a large amount of jewellery over the time of the relationship. He asked for it back, and I gave it to him. It felt wrong to walk away with it.

When I first got with my current wife
about 16 long years ago.
I went for a boy's night out and temporarily forgot where I lived for 2 days. (I know it was bad but I was young at the time)
Anyway when I remembered where I lived I was walking up my street I notice my "special" plants ripped to bits in my front garden.
Even though I was gutted by this I just took it on the chin and counted my self lucky she never took the scissors to anything else of mine or me.

AHHAHHAHAHA

This happened to a guy I knew in Missouri. His father owned a big Honda dealership, and he was working there with his father doing very, very well for himself. He had a beautiful wife, and in their 2nd year of marriage, she started finding his emails and chats with other women. One day it was too much, so she waited til he went out of town, and she sold off everything in the house! A buddy of mine got a nice 50" TV out of their bedroom for $100. Somebody else I knew bought her wedding ring for $200 (it was probably worth $10k)!

Anyhow, he came home to an empty house with a ForSale sign in the front yard and Divorce Papers nailed to the door!

And then it got worse. It got too much attention, and the police got involved, and it turns out some of his "chat" partners were underaged! I don't know if he was aware of it or not, but he was eventually arrested and investigated over it.

I don't know how it all wound up in the end, but I know his world got rocked by a jaded woman!

Same reason guys regularly hook up with golddiggers; a plain lack of common sense.

Haha that's hilarious. I think if she bought it and it's still in HER house, then she has the right to sell it.

Good for her

My friends wife was cheating on him and moved out of his house, My brother caught wind of that she was getting divorce papers so a little more than a month we sold all of his stuff. classic cars, off road vehicles, atv's, electronics, jewlery and a large gun collection(i bought most of that
) then eventually his house. She filed the papers and found out she wasnt getting a single thing, all he had was an apartment and a huge lump of cash in my safe deposit box. After finding out she wasnt getting anything from the divorce her boyfriend dumped her so came back to my wealthy friend who then divorced her. It was all in all kind of funny.

I was'nt going to even read this.. however it's obvious.

Considering I have..

Here goes!

When and for whatever reason that time brings two together.. going into it, tought call if it's meant to be... But once you give a part of yourself that appears not available to anyone esle.. Emotionaly, Physically, it belongs to you to give. Take that away, it worst then death for him/her. Death.. that you can get over..... Rejection... tougher yet!! At times, never ending hurt.. takes it's course don't you think?

Some will get Crazy!

Those that can still talk about it got lucky... glad I'm not one of them!

I went through 5 Wedding Bands in my 38 years of being Married to my choice! That was expensive enough.

One needs to look very close to this fact...

Choose Wisley..

Jesse!

I smell an episode of Judge Judy forthcoming...

But what I would do is box it up and put it outside, then give the man 48 hours to come get it and whatever he leaves behind would be mine. Then again, I haven't been in that situation before, so it's easy to say.

I might get so mad that I'd invite all his friends over for a party and use it all as fuel for my fire pit.

Well if they've lived together for 6 months, and unless they had a prenuptial agreement, then its THEIR STUFF. savvy?

In any case, I've heard of lots of things like this, but then, I also note all the men that play big shots and come and try to take the washer and dryer back that was a part of the household even with children in it, or repossess a battery in a car.

Spite and meanness goes on both sides I believe.

It shouldn't be like that.

No have never done this, nor would I ever do this.
