The angel tells John exactly what the sea is and its not the Mediterranean.

Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.

Its the human race.

To add, when did Muslims become an ethnic group?

Arabs are children of Abraham and the last I checked Abraham's offspring weren't exactly gentiles.

Just throwing another theory out there.I believe only God knows, and humans are left to interpret his scriptures, try as they may to future events........

Protestants believed once it was the Pope.(dont know if the still do)
Jews believed in Anti Messiahs.
Russian Orthodox once believed it was Peter the Great.
Mormons believe its Lucifer, and those who assist him.
Islam believes in the Masih ad-Dajjal.
Some believed it was Hitler and Napoleon.

You can thank WBC for one thing, they serve to illustrate just how whacked all religions are. The amount of hatred coming from this group is off the charts.

I got another theory for you.

One of the seven sovereigns, among the five that have fallen, one of them who was, is not, yet will be the "8th" resides in the Abyss.

In scripture, humans never ever go to the Abyss. Only "angels" fall to the Abyss.

This sovereign and the other six are very likely not human.

So there's no way it could be a man.

considering how impotent Obama's presidency has been thus far, I highly doubt he has what it takes to be "The Beast". I doubt he'll even be re-elected so he'd better get moving. Tick-tock

i was going to say nuttier than a squirrel turd, but you nailed it. These people are a bunch of hypocrites, which is all the more funny when you consider the manner in which they do it - religion.

The only way these tools survive is by the free media their shennigans cause. easiest way to get them to go away is to a - ignore them, b. for the media toignore them and c to protest in the same area they want to protest and drown them out.

If they want to exercise their first amendment rights to be NtAC 2.0 compliant (for those who dont know the phrase - No Talent A## Clown) then let them, while at the same time we remind them its a 2 way street.

I could only hope they have a marriage / funeral and experience the same crap they dish out.

The Beast from the sea?

The "sea" is the Mediterranean Sea.

That's a freebie.

uh no dude in this context [prophesy and visions] the sea represents humanity a beast rising from the sea implies a human origin.

just my 2 cents

I have to mention the last world power, aka global empire, was the British Empire. It was succeeded by the American Hegemony or "empire". Prior to the British was the Spanish.

The Ottomans never had a "world" empire. Arab Muslims prior to the Turks had a set of powerful Caliphates that ruled from the border of China to Spain, but it wasn't a unified empire like Spain's or Britain's.

The last big unified empire before Spain was the Mongol Empire, which stretched at one point from Poland to Korea.

Like this:

Residents of Missouri Town Block Protesters From Picketing Soldier's Funeral

This should occur anywhere these morons decide to protest.

Personally speaking if the WestBoro Baptist Church wants to take the scriptures seriously and without interpretation, then I suggest they learn what the bible actually says and ask for forgiveness, because they are violating it themselves. I would love to see them get bitch smacked by their own teachings.

And? It says revived Roman Empire, that would be the Ottomans, the muslims. It's coming back as the final beast. Remember, the beast wants to destoy Israel of the map. Read Psalm 83, that tells you the nations.

But the kingdom of the beast arises around the Mediterranian Sea. The Middle East and northern Africa.

I'll say this again, hopefull it'll sink in, the antichrist will carry all three of these title: The Assyrian, the King of Babylon, the Prince of Tyre. He will be a Muslim. They are going to call him the Mahadi.

Firstly, Jesus Christ has nothing whatsoever to do with these nutters, except He is probably prepared to save them (God knows why - get it?)

Secondly, Obama could have this woman up in court for defamation and she is lucky that he is not doing so.

The anti christ shall not raise himself to public awareness until his power is absolute, lest he be thumped verily in the crotch , and have his pelvis thusly sundered in twain.
But seriously, the whole thing about the antichrist, is not to worry about who it might be, but to prepare for all eventualities so that if he raises his face to the light, we have the tools to take his face off , and make him eat it.

Are you aware that the night before the Nov. 2008 election, the Pick 3 Lottery numbers drawn in Illinois were 666 (Mark of the Beast)....that IS a fact. Sheer coincidence? Also, "The Beast" is the nickname of Obama's presidential limo. Is that just another "in your face", HA HA HA ? A bit eerie, huh? I don't personally believe he is THE beast, but he IS a radical, he IS a Muslim and was NOT put in place for the good of our nation. Also, you might familiarize yourself with some well-known world leaders and politicians who blatantly flash the satanic goat's head sign snippits-and-slappits.blogspot.com...
There's some real eye openers, I promise!

America, the land of the crazy.

I've always wondered why so many of you are obsessed with religion. I tell you something, these zealots are mentally ill and should be treated. They are responsible for the deaths of many.

Like these brainwashed idiots:

Either treat them in a mental hospital or lock them away, but they are a danger to humanity when they can freely practice their idiocy.

I recently rented the latest Charlie Manson movie from Blockbuster, which actually focused on Leslie Van Houten and one young juror in the trial, and his family and family life.

The movie would cut back and forth between life with Charlie Manson and life in a conservative Christian Family of the day as it was for the young male juror.

Brilliantly done you could never really tell who was more murderously frightening, the family and social circle of the Christian family who extolled the son to heed that God wants us to kill the commie gooks in Vietnam and decent Christian Americans really want to do just that, or Charlie and his drugged out family wanting to have sex with and then alternately murder every other thing in sight.

When it comes to the religious they sure have been programmed to rigidly believe in some strange notions and things based on their love of God.

My favorite in the movie is when the jurors fiancée said “I want to give myself to you in a way that would be acceptable to Jesus” when discussing their plans for their first full sexual encounter.

Not only are these people too much, they absolutely believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong. Closed looped circuits of the most dangerous kind.

While I was raised in a religious household, I have always found it frightening, that people I attended church with, would one minute would be preaching peace and love, then the next playing "favorites". Example : New church members where invited to attend services at our congregation, they came from some local projects, all black and not one was as well off as any of the other families, including our "bottom tier" family, most in this congregation made over 6digits a year. when these new kids showed up, they where treated as outsiders and not given a place to sit, the parents faired little better, being singled out by the pastor as, worshipers less fortunate that had found their way to us. Isn't gods love supposed to be boundless and all accepting? This ability to compartmentalize humans into separate groups where there should be none has always seemed a little bipolar, or schizophrenic, that is to say that one person feels it is their right to judge who is less and who is deserving, basically playing god. If this where a function based solely in the human brain wouldn't it stand to reason that all religions no matter how just or peaceful will always fall to the failings of man, because it comes from man, to further this point I leave you with this,
www.livescience.com...[/url]

This came out in 2009, however this thread seems to be the proper place to post it, as it is pertinent to the discussion and needs to be considered. All of this is a schizophrenic episode caused by misfiring anomalies in our gray matter kids. Be good to one another don't steal and quit buggering each other for a better spot on the honor roll, we created it after all. Pretty simple on how to avoid destroying ourselves over figments, and still be good to one another. Just have to get over the imbalance ALL of us are born with and programmed to follow without question, right into our graves.
