It's a theory. A theory is something that explains a fact. The theory of evolution explains how the fact of evolution occurs. Please, learn your scientific terms before you get annoyed at what's being taught in schools. Maybe they should teach what 'theory' means.

No doubt about it, Darwin was a idiot. But he may be excused for being one, because he stood at the very beginning of this madness called evolution and did'nt know better. Who's much worse then Darwin, are all these idiots of today who still cling on to that crap for reasons of their carrier or whatever....

Not true, it has been demonstrated in the laboratory that inert molecules under the right conditions and pressure have formed the organic building block of life, simple RNA.

This just shows your lack of understanding of what a scientific theory is. For the fifth time in two weeks, I'll post this for the edification of someone who had an inadequate science education growing up:

From the US National Academy of Sciences:

The formal scientific definition of theory is quite different from the everyday meaning of the word. It refers to a comprehensive explanation of some aspect of nature that is supported by a vast body of evidence. Many scientific theories are so well established that no new evidence is likely to alter them substantially. For example, no new evidence will demonstrate that the Earth does not orbit around the sun (heliocentric theory), or that living things are not made of cells (cell theory), that matter is not composed of atoms, or that the surface of the Earth is not divided into solid plates that have moved over geological timescales (the theory of plate tectonics). One of the most useful properties of scientific theories is that they can be used to make predictions about natural events or phenomena that have not yet been observed.

And from the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences:

A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world. The theory of biological evolution is more than "just a theory." It is as factual an explanation of the universe as the atomic theory of matter or the germ theory of disease. Our understanding of gravity is still a work in progress. But the phenomenon of gravity, like evolution, is an accepted fact.

Got it now? Great!

A creationist thread?

Never thought I would be able to use this picture

Well, since there are people here who are religious, will pose this question. If we started with Adam and Eve - and they had kids - who did they have children with? Are we all the product of incest?

ok so you dont believe in evolution well look up lucy's fossils where scientist have found the link between man and apes, and look at the mudskipper fish that crawls on land,if there wasnt evolution everybody on the planet would be the same color and look alike etc, please from now on do your research before making assumptions

According to evolution there is a probability that beings 1 million to 1 billion years more advanced than us exsist.

And unless we are the first and only universe ever, God likely precedes our reality.

Whether he actually attended to us or cares about us now is a different matter.

I am no scientist but fully understand why people get so passionate about topics like this. I believe every scientist is a valuable asset. When we look back into history and think we have found an answer, it usually leads to more questions. If any scientist is just 1% correct about evolution or anything for that matter...it is 1% in the direction of understanding more about the true meaning of life itself! Naomi

Well its common sense really, The universe is Billions of years Old and the Chances are that Any other life that did exist would be far ahead of Humanity in an Evolutionary sense, I suggest you read the following as it is a great read on how humanity should evolve in the future and the Possible evolution that could have taken part in other forms of life in the universe (if they exist of course)

To make such a claim you must have alternate theories.
What are they?

Citation? You are giving him a ticket?

If they exist...it isn't on this planet. At least not on the surface.

I dont need to here of a 'tetrapod' because its probably some made up sh*t

why are you even on this site?...it would seem that you are best suited for somewhere that glorifies self-imposed ignorance, coupled with the inability to express yourself, without resorting to vulgarity.

Well, since OP hasn't posted an alternative theory, this is just a troll thread and should be closed.

I read the OP and other posts ,and I feel sad for some people here because my god ,like Darwins god was smart enough to think of a brilliant idea like evolution.Apparently their god is not omnipotent, like Darwins and mine.My sympathies
