Why have the Abductions stopped?

Maybe they found out all they need to know and came to the conclusion that were not that interesting a species after all.
I came to that conclusion a long time ago.

Thanks for pitching in with some tired, old, species self-hatred. Wouldn't be a thread without somebody piping up about how we're either too violent or boring or whatever for aliens to bother with. Must be hard to be something you despise so much.

Maybe you should try to have a sense of humor. I guess I should have posted a smiley or a LOL so you wouldn't get your panties in a bunch. Jeesh. If you prefer to take this subject seriously then you should be able to admit that my guess as to why abductions have stopped is not out of the realm of possibilities.

How long has it been since we went to the moon? "Nothing to see here ....move along." At least that is the reason given by some.

Contrary to the popular beliefs, reports of abductions by alleged "aliens" died out because they were not happening to begin with. The reports from the same individuals will eventually phase out and they have because no one is picking up on the old reports and perpetuating them. Abduction reports always came from believers. I have never seen such a report from a skeptic just like I've never read a report of ghosts from an atheist. Some things exist only in the minds prepared to accept the concept.

Besides, any "alien" worth its salt would be more interested in leaders, not the average Joe on the street.

speak for yourself...you sure seem to know it all...I was never a believer and never affiliated with any religion,,,my family/father is an atheist and scientist...my siblings are scientists....I'm your run of mill american sports fanatic who would rather watch ESPN than the X files....I have never been to church other than for a couple funerals/weddings/and to pay my respects and honor the beliefs of my friends (communion,gf's family is religious)....I was abducted October 2011 ...never asked for it...never wanted it...never believed it.....

only 2 people know about my experience in my real life...i never made a formal report...i don't talk about it even with my family....I'm sane enough and understand the mindset of what I would sound like to others if I went reporting my story....I've written a total of 10 posts here because it is basically personal therapy...I can't get over what happened to me...it has flipped my world upside down....

Even here, I know and expect to not be believed...but it is comforting running into others and reading experiences of others that have been/are going through what I went through....I'm not here to try and change your mind...the only way you can change is seeing/experiencing first hand...I truly prey you do not....I do not wish anyone else to experience the fear of an abduction...it changes your life negatively and occupies your mind constantly...Despite not knowing you and this being a public, faceless forum, I don't appreciate being lumped in as a crazy , delusional lunatic....

I now believe the plights of abductees now...I used to have your view until it happened to me....I have a much better understanding being able to depict hoaxes from those that are truthful....though there are a ton of hoaxers and sick people, there are real abductees out there that have unwillingly been exposed to a haunting secret.

I've gotten a couple private messages requesting I make a post...I'm thinking about it....it has taken me since the night of my abduction (oct. 18/ 11) to start writing few posts about it...it's been about 5 months but I still have a ridiculous amount of fear thinking/talking/writing/reading about anything ufo/alein related...I've heard stories about the greys being angered at those that share their experiences...these 10 posts have essentially been "feelers"....havn't had any contact/backlash since sharing so it's giving me the strength to write...I do feel a need to share what I went through even though it won't do much other than entertain as "just another abduction story"...keep an eye out...I'll sac up one of these nights.

I don't think the abductions have stopped. Maybe the abductees haven't come back and be able to tell anyone. In Canada we have a large amount of young healthy men going missing each year, never to be found or heard from again. Makes me wonder if this is what's happening to them.

H8 Grey you should write your experience. I have posted mine on here numerous times, but never did anything with it such as you or told anyone, because the next day there was absolutely no evidence. It was a pure in the moment type of scenario, incredibly random and frightening.

I eventually started telling more people, but not to the point where it changed what people thought of me. My experience was an encounter. I was outside late at night as if I heard a noise. I got up to look around and that is when I started to receive telepathic communication, "Hi were here. There is 12 of us. We are 3 foot tall grey aliens with smooth skin." And they were also sending me mental pictures of what they looked like. There is no way to describe what telepathic communication is like, but for the next few days I was tripping out thinking of it! However after about 4-5 days I could not mentally revisit the sensation of the telepathic communication, if that makes any sense. But for a day or two after it was still real clear in my head of what it had felt like.

So while I'm receiving the telepathic communication in my backyard, I can see 2 different groups of what I can best describe as blurry shadows. I knew the communication was coming from those 2 different directions. One shadow was against the fence and the other was 20 feet away near some potted plants and a tree. I felt like one was going to walk out towards me, and that would be it....but that wasn't happening and I was too scared to approach the shadows so I ran inside to my room to hide. I came out 15 minutes later with a flash light nothing was there, and nothing was there the next morning.

Since nothing paranormal has happened to me, I've played it off as some type of sleep deprivation. But I was wide awake when this happened by myself watching tv late at night. This was a little over 2 years ago.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.. I've read about telepathic communications during contact experiences...I honestly don't really know what that feels like, must have been wild....Unlike many accounts, I didn't pick up any telepathic thoughts from these creatures...just "felt" their coldness / the energy in the environment changed and felt dreadful...it was a very noticeable shift...they had no desire to communicate/comfort telepathically or verbally with me...I did hear one speak in their language and it was flat out horrifying...

nothing paranormal has ever happened to me either..I think that makes everything so much more mindblowing.

My event was actually in 2008, it's why I started my account here on ATS. I've had paranormal experiences before, but this felt like an alien encounter and not so much ghosts/demons, mostly for how long it lasted, 10-15 minutes or so, and the telepathic communication. And I completely agree with you about it being a noticeable shift.

nah just your run of the mill guy raised in california...no sexual trauma or physical abuse...pretty sheltered and no run-ins with the strange or paranormal until my experience...prob why I'm such a wimp and don't know how to handle what happened. .wish you were right though...would be sleeping right now instead of scared and waiting for daylight to catch some zzz's if I could blame my experience on some inner trauma from my past...what's your excuse for hating homosexuals and those that got an unlucky deal by being born with a mental handicap?
